Hello friends :)

The point of this contest is to write a post following the #ccc rules about something that you either enjoyed doing over the past week, or are looking forward to doing in the coming week.

Here are the rules for your post:

  • 200+ words of original writing or 3 photos taken by you to answer this prompt
  • must use the #ccc tag
  • must include the invitation (see code below to copy and paste at the end of your post - as it is in this post)

This is an Invitation to join #ccc for [Guaranteed &#128077; Daily Income &#128181; and Payout &#128184; for Newbies (2.0) &#128031; &#128028; &#128027; in #ccc &#128099; and Follow &#128099; the Honor Code &#127941; - the Creed (Conditions and Limits Inside)](https://steemit.com/ccc/@freedomshift/guaranteed-daily-income-and-payout-for-newbies-2-0-in-ccc-and-follow-the-honor-code-the-creed-conditions-and-limits-inside) <br>AND <br>the [latest update](https://steemit.com/ccc/@freedomshift/an-update-v2-1-to-guaranteed-daily-income-and-payout-for-newbies-2-0-in-ccc-and-follow-the-honor-code-the-creed-conditions-and) <<< _please click to read._

I know that this is a little more in-depth than normal SBI giveaway contests, but part of the point of #ccc is to generate good content on the Steem platform.

Here is my response as an example of what I am looking for.

I think for this one, I will post about looking back over the last portion of my vacation in Egypt. I would do looking forward for my first week home, but it is 5:40 AM now and I should really go to sleep soon. I am home from my extended stay abroad finally. Cairo was an awesome trip, and while it might have been nice to be there for a little longer, I am super happy to be home again.

My final days in Cairo were spent in the Garden City region, which was awesomely beautiful.

There were tree lined streets everywhere in this region, and the nile was a very short distance away. We spent the first afternoon there just sort of wandering around, and it was gorgeous.

We also went to the Salah El-Din Citadel, which had some awesome views of the city, including being able to see two of the pyramids.

After that, we stopped by the Al-Azhar Park, which was pretty nice as far as parks go. It didn’t have that much in the way of cool plants like the Athens Garden, but we did get to see bats!

Hopefully that will share properly. I am thinking I may upload that to YouTube, but I am not sure yet.

After that, we took a short trip through the famous Khan El-Khalili bazaar. It was alright, but nothing too particularly fancy.

On our final day, we went to a really impressive mosque, and then spent a few frantic hours wandering through the Egypt Museum. That place was so huge, and we were pretty exhausted. But seeing all of the amazing artwork and creations of the ancient Egyptians was really impressive. I took like, 900 or so pictures haha. The scale of some of the things really had me questioning how they did it.

That was about it for the trip. It was a fairly rushed few days, but I think we got in a lot of really cool experiences and made the most of our trip.

I’m really happy to be back home, and will hopefully have some time to catch up on things that I have been not as active with for the past few weeks.

I hope that you have had both a pleasant preceding week and have a positive one going forward.

Until next time,

Aloha

As to the winning process, this will be random draw. Comment a link to your post on this post, you will be assigned a number, and when the post pays out I will draw a random number and that person will get an SBI share. I am also very open to changing the reward system, so if you have a suggestion let me know. :)

@freedomshift is sponsoring this contest with some generous gifts. With a new year of #ccc, the reward system has changed. There’s no longer a particular method for this, so I am just going to do a carry over of 1 week for all non-winning entries, and give 2 SBI for weeks that have 6 entries with the carry over. So if you’d like that to happen more, please let people know about the contest :)

Last week’s post had 4 entries.

Using a Random Number Generator, I got 4. So @gertu you are the lucky winner and get 1 SBI from me.

For the LB/LF Contest #6, there were 4 entries. So there are 6 remaining entries (fitinfunfood, wakeupkitty, marblely, gertu, fitinfunfood, marblely) that did not win this time or for last week’s first draw. As gertu has won a lot recently, I’m going to take you out of this second drawing, to help spread the winning around a little more. Using the RNG, I got 4, so @fitninfunfood, you get an SBI.

Thank you @freedomshift for sponsoring this contest, I hope that this particular system is acceptable :)

Here is a list of participants, so that you can be notified. If you’d like me to not tag you, please let me know:

@marblely, @fitinfunfood, @wakeupkitty, @fraenk, @getru

Thank you for entering, and I hope you will continue to do so :)

To repeat, simply write a 200+ word post about something you enjoyed doing last week, or are looking forward to this doing this coming week, and put the link in a comment here.

I'm looking forward to seeing your responses :)

Until next time,

Aloha

The scale of some of the things really had me questioning how they did it.

Yeah! It should! Even without turning this into some sort of woo-woo, it's sheer mind boggling!

I never knew there was something like "Garden City" in Kairo, I always imagined the whole city to be a crowded, beige-colored and slightly trashed place... that looks delightfully green!

This is what I thought too. Very surprised by all the pretty green.

Haha, very true. I do sometimes let my mind wander to the woo-woo when it comes to the sheer size and complexity of ancient building structures.

Right? I was really blown away by how beautiful it was. Definitely a nice little oasis in the city. Though, even the places I explored outside of that region had a lot of trees and greenery. Nowhere near as much though.

Thank you so much for the consistent support. I am sorry that I haven't been more active on here. It has been a hectic week resettling into my life here in the states, but I think I have more of a handle on it now and will be trying to catch up on everything.

Greetings. What beautiful images of your trip. Thanks for the SBI award. Too bad you do not like it if you win a lot. This is my ticket

Thank you, there was a lot of amazing sights for that vacation. It's not that I do not like you winning a lot, I just want to allow others to benefit as well. With how consistently you enter, you'll be able to win a lot more :)

You are entry #1.

Awesome photos, @nmcdougal94. Keep posting more. If that is the Nile, I thought it would be wider. And I sure did not except the garden area. Gorgeous! One day maybe I will get there.

I'm so glad you are home safely. What is next?

Thank you so much for the sbi. I love that program.

Here is my post for this week :)

Thank you :) I will have to try out some of the dApps you mentioned. Just need to find the time. That particular part of the Nile was a little offshoot, the main river portion was significantly wider.

I am not sure. I know I will be starting to work as a personal trainer again. I plan to look for other jobs as well, but besides that I don't know.

It really is an awesome program. I wonder though, how many shares you would need to actually get a liveable income from it. I would have to imagine that it would be like, many tens of thousands. Haha, maybe someday we'll both get there.

Thank you :) you are entry #2.
