Caturday stare... / 見つめられて…
I felt like I was being watched when I was cleaning the mess on the floor.
When I looked up, I found Pepper sitting on the edge of my desk and staring at me.
She found her new favourite spot on my desk lately. It’s on top of the bills and scrap papers.
She kicks them down and curls up to nap.
I think she just hopped on my desk for a nap but found me messing around.
床に散らかっていた物を片付けていたら、視線を感じました。
顔を上げるとペッパーが私のデスクの隅に座って私を凝視していました。
最近ペッパーは、私が請求書や学校からのお便りなどを置いておく場所がお気に入りで、それらを蹴飛ばしてお昼寝の場所に使っています。
この時もお昼寝に向かうためにデスクに飛び乗ったところだったのしょう。
けれど私が何やらゴソゴソしていたので観察することに？笑
This is my best score for the game 2048 so far.
I’ve got one tile to 1024 but rest of the tiles are all over the place, especially when the numbers on each tile get bigger.

タイルが1つ1024になりましたが、数が大きくなると、どうしてもタイルが散らばってしまって難しいです。

I haven't played 2048 in a long time, but—if I recall correctly—the easiest way to play is to try to always have the biggest number in one of the bottom corners (I liked to use the bottom left corner, I think). The next largest number should be next to that, and etc. That way, if you have 1024 in one corner, 512 next to it, and 256 next to that, 128 next to that, 64 next to that, 32 next to that, and you manage to make a new 32 next to that (not very hard), you can swipe them over to eachother so you get to 1024.
Something like this is a winning case, for example:
When you get used to this strategy, getting up to even 4096 shouldn't be too hard.
My daughter’s boyfriend took over the game and scored higher than my best score with one try🤣 he told me not to swipe up and keep the bigger number in the bottom layer. I’ve been trying that since last night but I tend to end up with big numbers in both bottom corners and stuck.
I’ll take your advice and try to focus on one corner today.
