Steemit Casino Referral Program & Bonuses Explained

Since our #introduceyourself post published yesterday, our gaming platform gained a lot of traction among steem users.

Our Initial Referral Program

With that being said, we would like to share with the wonderful steem community what has happened since steemit casino went LIVE. We want to be as transparent as possible so you can comfortably choose our gaming services over our competition.   

At launch, we had an intriguing offer for all players who wanted to promote us & thus participate in our referral program. Initially, the program stipulated that whenever a new player uses a referrer’s link & signs up on our platform, the referrer would receive 25 credits instantly. The new player using the referral link at sign up would also receive 10 credits for starters.   

While we had several fair and trustworthy referrals who put an effort to actually promote steemit casino, a few decided to abuse our system. They started using the referral link excessively via our simple Sign up form and created dozens of accounts just to receive 25 credits over & over again. You can find an example below. 

As a consequence, we were forced to suspend our referral program at around 20:30 GMT (8:30 PM GMT) yesterday, November 4, 2019. The abusers along with their linked accounts were deleted from our database.   

Those who used the referral program truthfully and fairly were not affected and will not be charged in any way. You will keep your balance accumulated from your referred players. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and the temporary suspension of the referral program. 

Referral Program Revamped

With this post, steemit casino will resume the referral program but we are forced to add new conditions to avoid further abuse.   

Indeed, the referral will continue to receive 25 credits per new user registered via his or her referral link BUT ONLY IF the new player deposits at least 25 credits with STEEM or BTC. Moreover, the new player MUST sign up with STEEM via SteemConnect for the referral to be eligible for the 25 credit bonus. The registrations via our simple sign up form will not be taken into consideration. All new players (no matter the registration method) will continue to receive 10 FREE credits per account.   

For a simplistic and more comprehensive view, here are our referral program’s Terms & Conditions:  

• Referrals promoting steemit casino can receive 25 credits per referred player IF  
  • the referred player signed up with Steem & linked the steem account with the steemit casino account. 
  • the referred player deposits 25 credits & wagers at least 25 credits in the Games section by playing either slots, video poker, blackjack, or roulette (100 %wagering requirement). 
• All new players who signed up via a referral link (no matter the registration method) will automatically receive 10 credits per account. 
• The referral will also have additional bonuses:  
  • when the referred player loses credits in a game, the referral will receive 5% of his net loss in credits. 
  • when the referred player purchase a raffle ticket, the referral will receive 10% of the ticket price in credits. 

You can always check your Bonuses section in the user menu for your referral link. Each user has its own referral link.   

It is essential to read our Terms of use before engaging in our referral program or any other bonus program for that matter. There have been some misunderstandings yesterday because the users didn’t read the Terms of use (bottom right corner of the page) and immediately requested to withdraw their bonus credits. All have been canceled as per the following paragraph of our Terms of use:

For any credits that are not claimed via a deposit but via different referral & bonus program, you will have to meet a 100% wagering requirement for slots or a 200% wagering requirement for the rest of our games (video slots, blackjack, and roulette), respectively before you can withdraw. For example, for any referred user (thus 25 credits claimed), you will have to play at least 25 spins at our slot games at a minimum wager (25 credit in total) or at least 50 spins at the European roulette/ 50 hands at blackjack & video poker at a minimum wager (50 credits in total) before you can ask for a withdrawal. Any withdrawal that does not meet this requirement will be automatically rejected. 

Steemit Casino 10% Extra Bonus

Besides the referral program, we also would like to offer you another exciting bonus if you decide to try out our games – the juicy Slots, Full STEEM Ahead, blackjack, video poker, or European roulette:  

• If you deposit more than 100 credits at once, you will receive an additional 10% of your deposit as bonus credits.
