🏝 Time to leave the island behind and mobilize other relationships 😎

It's never too late to start networking and laying the foundation for finding a job you're going to enjoy. Side projects and side hustles are essential not ending up in a silo. Building up or extending an existing network can help you to transition more smoothly upon graduation. On average you should start looking for a job probably about 6 months before you graduate.

That's about the right time to start extending your network outside the box. If you haven't activated a network yet it's probably gonna take you a little bit longer, but it's never too late and always the right time. 70% of jobs aren’t advertised. Even specialists top in their field often lack access to a broadened network. Then they often wonder why they didn't get the promotion they've been working towards for so long.

Sciencevienna network nodes program was designed to close this gap. It allows subscribers to access the internal calendar with upcoming events and exclusive digital content. For details feel free to get in contact with us

Details regarding the program and the terms and conditions you will receive upon registration here

Good advice. I always told all my younger friends and family, no matter
how you hate the job you have, never quit or do anything to get fired
Until and unless you have another job to go to
(never do anything to GET fired period)
But they seldom listened.
And so that is life, when young we don't listen to those who are
Older and have more experience, and when we're older, no
One listens to us. Sad but true.
Good post @sciencevienna.
