Candles Day

I figured it was time I took the candle making seriously instead of letting the negatives deter me from even trying.

I've noticed I have this thing where I get in in my head that I need something else before I can move forward with a project.

It's not a usual occurrence but it happens often enough for me to take note of it. Which is kind of weird because I do, most of the time, try to make do with what I have by thinking outside the box and making things happen.

This morning I decided to go ahead and decorate the Abundance candles with what I had on hand just to finish them off.

Some Green Adventurine for luck and abundance, clear quartz just cos and a sprinkle of glitter for some bling and viola! Done! Looking pretty and smells like musk.

My only criticism would be that the green wax isn't green enough ~ but that can be remedied by adding more dye in the next batch.

It's amazing how achieving one thing can start the ball rolling.

Now that I was happy with my measurements and knew what to do by learning from my mistakes with the green one, I decided to go ahead and make the Spirituality candle.

Usually I would do these at night when Hubby is home to look after Bella but today she was quite happy to watch from her high chair as I made candles.

I decided to add Amethysts to these ones seeing that they're for spirituality and Amethyst is a great crystal for that being a third eye and a crown chakra crystal.

A bit of glitter to top it off and boom! She's all done!

Next in line was the Cleansing Candle.

For this one I decided to add equal parts of Orange and Lemon essential oil for the scent, adding an extra 5ml to make sure it had throw when burned.

Clear Quartz, Gold Leaf and trademark glitter for bling and she's all done!

Lemme just give myself a pat on the back 😊

Technically, I needed more candles made up because they're going to be stock for a shop, but a little is better than nothing which was exactly what I had a couple of days ago.
