Hi everyone! HAPPY THANKSGIVING to those of you who celebrate this holiday. As I stated last week, Thursday is Butterfly Day and Insect Day Giveaway for Week 37 is postponed until next Thursday, December 5th so that I can spend Thanksgiving with my family.

I also stated that today, I would announce the winners for Week 36. Since today is Thanksgiving, to give thanks to all who entered my giveaway for Week 36, I have given 1-SBI to each of you. Thanks Melinda! Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? Mine was wonderful. I spent 3 days with family that I don't get to see very often. Today I was exhausted so I slept most of the day and now I am catching up on my replies.

My family was all here for the holiday and we had a wonderful time! They put my tree up while they were here, so now I need to get busy shopping so that I have gifts to put under the tree!

Happy Thanksgiving, @whatisnew! and thank you for your generosity. I hope you had the most wonderful day with your family. I did. Small, but quiet. We met in a restaurant early, and then I cooked a modest meal with my daughter. Makes no sense, unless you value leftovers :)) Also, I wanted my granddaughter to have a sense of the cooking, which is as bonding as the eating. She did take part, and that was wonderful.

I am happy to hear that your Thanksgiving was a happy one. Your granddaughter cooking with you will be a fond memory for her.
Oh, I had a very joyful holiday weekend. My sister-in-law was able to come home for 12 hours on Thanksgiving day. It was so good to have her home but it was hard for her to go back to the nursing home/rehab facility. Hopefully she will be home for good a couple of days before Christmas. Yay! And I spent time with my son and his family for a couple of days and that was a lot of fun. Today I slept almost all day because I was exhausted but it was well worth it. : )
