Your boob post made some points, but did it so awkwardly the message got lost in the boobs.
The blockchain doesn't care where we live or what gender, color or sexual orientation we are. It doesn't know. :) I liked it that you addressed this in your post.
Regarding the people involved, since we are anonymous we can't really say what our gender ratios are.
I do agree we need less tech talk, friendlier tools and easier steps to accomplishing things. We could use more organization and teamwork and sometimes just laughing at each other.
Generally speaking women do not like to be referred to as "Boobs" or even Vaginas and frankly I have always been impressed with Steem not being geared towards acting like sex starved teens.
For the record I have never felt enslaved and don't live under a glass ceiling, in fact I've found when I present myself intelligently and professionally, that I am treated in the same manner. Now I know many women will disagree with me on that. There is almost nothing more aggravating than having a man tell me what my challenges in this world are though. Just like men, women are all different, are having different experiences and don't require the same "fixes". I know our current political situation makes that hard to remember so I am going to cut you a break on that one.
It might surprise you, but I feel the trick to equality is BEING equal. I don't need anyone to dumb this down for me. I don't want my salary fixed on what some lame man makes. I'll do my own negotiating, thank you. Acting as if a gentler softer Steem would bring on more women is part of what creates limits. We are here, we are fine. We don't need special treatment. Whatever fixes you want to put in have nothing to do with gender. :)

I got triggered by 'lame men' but then found a pair of boobs to get lost in and feel much better now.
I do not think it is 50/50 either men vs women on steemit. I think there are a heck of a lot more than most guys are able to see. When I first joined steemit it was because my wife, and her lady friend encouraged me to join. The first people I met were the queen and first lady of steemit, stellabella and mammasita. I joined because I like to read, and books were getting expensive. I met michelle, dreemit, giantbear, and a heck of a lot of women, before finding any men on steemit. the first male people I spoke to one was nice, the second flagged me for asking a format question, (How did you make the small font).
Since then I have met some more friendly people, but I think I know more women on this format than men. Perhaps they are just more creative than most of the men, and I tend to enjoy the creative side more than the finance side. This site is confusing to everyone, that is one of the things that make it so much fun. Almost two years on steemit and I honestly think this is the first semi men vs women type of rant I have seen.
I was thinking about the whole boobs thing after reading the post and I was actually going to write a response but I thought better of making a tit of myself. I was thinking that say this while woman drive happens so we have pretty faces to hang in the shop window for thirsty guys to fawn over and buy steem to show them affection or whatever, like we see on platforms like patreon, Snapchat and Twitch

For a smart woman to use her body as an asset it is a short term proposition, because the attraction of the body depreciates, while other business types grow over time. While I am sure there are some who manage to make some short term gains on a short term asset. I'm pretty convinced there are better opportunities.
I'm not moralizing I am a realist. When someone doesn't have a skill set they should do whatever they need to. That trade comes with some nasty people, drugs, and with the Internet, can be hard to break away from.
There are places where selling your body can feed your children, pay rent and keep your head above water. Can't say I can judge that. I just think there are better ways to do it, if you have the option.
Many people also make a lot of money in the drug trade and many of those people develop some great business skills also. Not sure I would recommend it though. :)
You're not wrong. I've read some marketing blogs recently that has stated that the whole sex sells thing is done. There are some markets that still fall for it but the ones most likely to spend are turned off by it.
Some of it is when you objectify one gender in your marketing, that gender gets the message that the other gender is who they want to do business with and they move on. Maximum market reach is everyone interested in the product regardless of gender.
First off we always need more boobs. I disagree with the basic premise behind your post. It's scientifically and factually wrong.
With that said the majority of people aren't hugely into learning new technologies and over complicated systems. To get more people you need to have a simple and well running system for people to use with interesting content. It's that simple. Content we have when you can find it but the whole system is over complicated and tough to get into.
I'm hoping that as soon as the proposal system comes in that we can start getting some of the more basic and necessary work done to the chain. the bits that have been missing since the start.

I agree. We don't need more "bobs and vagene" on this blockchain. As you stated correctly, there are plenty of other websites that provide you with that kind of stuff. I really enjoy that this blockchain seems to be free of any sexual content. Feels like fresh air. Every time I visit other social media platforms I see sexual content. It triggers me for sure.
Maybe we all should work on implementing real connections with real people in your day to day life. It feels much better to have awesome relationships with people that you can have sex with.
