Selling Monsters for Tokens

Sometimes it's fun to try new things. It may be a hike to a place you've never been. It could be a visit to the beach. Other times it's investing in new strategies or knowledge. The specific thing this post is about is selling Steem Monsters cards for DEC. This is an exciting new development because that means you can play a game and get cards that can be sold for DEC which can be used to buy votes from @steemmonsters or sold for Steem. This brings more value to the Steem ecosystem.

One of the things I noticed was that I couldn't find a transaction recorded on Steem World. Because it was sold on the SM internal market for a SM token, it didn't seem to be tracked. Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to see a to check the transaction history, so there's no way to verify the amount was correct.

I do have a few questions about the process. Like, how was the DEC price determined? Was it the average of the previous day(s) or week(s)? Is there a way for a seller to decline purchases paid in DEC? One reason might be if a person thought the value of DEC was going to drop, or the price of Steem rise. Either way, a seller wouldn't want to be paid in DEC as it would mean their net would be lower than if paid in Steem or SBD.

Does anyone have more info on how the DEC-based selling works?

Ha ha ha. That's a LOT of accounts. Must be getting quite the rewards from it. :)
