That Flower
I know. I had been doing nothing but experiment on flowers lately. I am planning on making a bunch of flowers for someone.
But, I know that its a kind gesture for that person too.
I started with the usual- resin dip some wire and then place them on my styrofoam pad to complete curing.
Since I plan to have a multicolor, multi layer flower, I decided to use purple on the inner parts, transition from purple to white on the middle part and finally, white on the outermost parts.
This is a discovery on this craft: I decided to wrap thin wire under the petals to secure them together. Every petal, I wrap the wire around once or twice depending on its "security."
I periodically cure the petals under my UV lamp to make sure that everything is cured- dried and, there will be no " fingerprints" on this.
When I was done, I "painted" it again with another layer of UV resin to make sure that it looks shiny and " professional."
Done. Many flowers more to go.
