Is Felix Manalo, the founder of the Iglesia ni Cristo, an angel?

What does the Bible say about “angel?”

HEBREWS 1:13-14
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

"All" angels are "ministering spirits" that minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. None of them was recipient of the honor of being called "Thou art My Son" thus separating our Lord Jesus Christ in being from all angels!

HEBREWS 1:4-5
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

There is absolutely no angel recipient of the honor of being called "Thou art My Son" and being told to "sit at My right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.”

What we have just done is establish hierarchy in the work of salvation: Jesus Christ is above all angels or ministering spirits. This necessarily means that the work of salvation must be aligned to Christ and his teachings.

Not an Angel

Back to Felix Manalo of the Iglesia ni Cristo, can he be rightly called or referred to as an angel – using any part of the Bible?

Firstly, Manalo was born as a man, with flesh and bones, married twice, became a preacher of several false churches, (Christian Missionary Alliance, Seventh-Day Adventist, Colorum, Iglesia Metodista Episcopal, Presbyterian Church) and later established his own church with his erroneous teachings especially concerning himself as someone "sent" of God!

Loses Biblical Right

Is Manalo the “Last Messenger of God?”

This act of misrepresentation and presumptuousness pretending to be "the last messenger" of God in the last days stripped off Manalo every right to be biblically considered as "man!”

Presumptuous persons are called in the Bible as "natural born beasts.”

II PETER 2:10-12
10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

** Not the Angel from the East**

The verse in the Bible that woefully motivated Manalo and cohorts to painstakingly assert that Manalo is an angel is the mention of an “angel ascending from the east.”

REVELATION 7:2
And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

But this angel from the east, as we have proven in my earlier blogs, sealed not Filipinos but the "saved" among the twelve tribes of Israel. This then makes it impossible for Manalo to be the mentioned angel ascending from the east.

REVELATION 7:4
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Going back to the basics, all angels are ministering spirits!

HEBREWS 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

**Not a Spirit

Manalo is not a spirit! He cannot be an angel!

But let us examine their invented explanations about "angel.”

Notice their confused and muddled doctrine about angels. An issue of their official organ, the Pasugo, explains that an angel is not a being but a function!

[Note: The editor-in-chief (Isaias Samson Jr.) was excommunicated middle of this year because of charges against him from within the Iglesia ni Cristo.]

Because they cannot deny that Manalo is a human being, they assert that “angel” is not a nature or a being but a function! How cunning! They perfect deceit and evasion just so they could present Manalo as an angel!

**Angels don’t marry
**
After some exchange of words in television and in radio between the ministers of the INC and me (your servant), they said that the word "angel" is not only a function but a state of being which can either be "spirit" or "man.” Their Pasugo stated it.

This attempt only shows their erroneous interpretation of the Scriptures and the weakness of their stand that Manalo is an angel.

For one, an angel of God does not marry! Manalo married twice!

LUKE 20:34-36
34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

There were fallen angels who left their own habitation.

JUDE 1:6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Still, I would not say that Manalo is an angel - as one of those who left their own habitation!

Manalo cannot, in any sense, be an angel of God or a fallen angel because both are spirits in nature! The safe conclusion is, he (Manalo) is not the angel mentioned ascending from the east!

Through Symbols

The Bible uses symbolic terms, uses every figure of speech to relay or picture the truth. Hence, trees like olive tree is figuratively spoken of to represent two people: the Israelites as the good olive tree and the Gentiles as the wild olive tree.

THE ROMANS 11:24-25
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.

Through symbols, stars were mentioned to mean "angels.”

REVELATION 1:20
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

The symbolic dragon or Satan by its tail drew a third part of the stars in heaven and cast them to the earth.

REVELATION 12:3-4
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

This third part of the stars in heaven symbolizes angels called the dragon's angels or Satan's angels.

REVELATION 12:9
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

We are sure that the third part of the stars in heaven are stars symbolic of angels. Why so? Because not a single star - if it is a literal star - can be contained in the planet earth. So, how much more the third part of the billion stars in heaven?

Stars are symbols of which in reality are the beings of angels. Nowhere in the Bible is it mentioned that angels - "all of whom are spirits" - were used to symbolize any other being, let alone Manalo!

How can a spirit, "unseen" or in human terms "invisible," symbolize something visible like Manalo?!

Considering all these things, an honest student of the Bible and an honest teacher of the word of God will never interpret that angels can be humans or that humans can be angels!

Absolutamente no hay ningún ángel que es un receptor del honor de ser llamado "Tú eres Mi Hijo" ni se les dijo "siéntate a mi diestra, hasta que ponga a tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies."

Lo que acabamos de hacer es establecer la jerarquía en la obra de salvación: Jesucristo está por encima de todos los ángeles o espíritus administradores. Esto significa necesariamente que la obra de la salvación debe estar alineado a Cristo y sus enseñanzas.

No es un Ángel

Volviendo a Félix Manalo de la Iglesia ni Cristo, ¿puede ser llamado correctamente o referirse como un ángel - usando cualquier parte de la Biblia?

En primer lugar, Manalo nació como hombre, con carne y huesos, se casó dos veces, se convirtió en un predicador de varias iglesias falsas, (Alianza Cristiana Misionera, Adventista del Séptimo Día, Colorum, Iglesia Metodista Episcopal, Iglesia Presbiteriana) y más tarde estableció su propia iglesia con sus enseñanzas erróneas sobre todo llamándose a sí mismo como alguien ¡"enviado" por Dios!

Pierde el Derecho Bíblico

¿Es Manalo el "Último Mensajero de Dios"?

Esta mala interpretación y la presunción al pretender ser "el último mensajero" de Dios en los últimos días, Manalo se ha quitado todo el derecho de ser considerado bíblicamente ¡"hombre"!

Personas presuntuosas son llamados en la Biblia como "naturalmente nacidas bestias."

II PEDRO 2:10-12
10 y principalmente a aquellos que, siguiendo la carne, andan en concupiscencia de inmundicia, y menosprecian la Potestad; atrevidos, soberbios, que no temen decir mal de las potestades superiores;
11 como quiera que los mismos ángeles, que son mayores en fuerza y en potencia, no pronuncian juicio de maldición contra ellas delante del Señor.

12 Mas éstos, diciendo mal de las cosas que no entienden, (como bestias brutas, que naturalmente son hechas para presa y destrucción), perecerán en su perdición,

No es el Ángel del Oriente

El versículo en la Biblia que por desgracia motiva a Manalo y a su cohorte afirmar laboriosamente que Manalo es un ángel es la mención de un "ángel subiendo del Oriente."

APOCALIPSIS 7:2
Y vi a otro ángel que subía de donde sale el sol y que tenía el sello del Dios vivo; y gritó a gran voz a los cuatro ángeles a quienes se les había concedido hacer daño a la tierra y al mar,

Pero este ángel desde el este, como hemos comprobado en mis blogs anteriores, selló no a los filipinos, sino a los "salvados", entre las doce tribus de Israel. Entonces esto hace más imposible que Manalo sea el ángel mencionado subiendo desde el este.

LA BIBLIA DE LAS AMERICAS
APOCALIPSIS 7:4
Y oí el número de los que fueron sellados: ciento cuarenta y cuatro mil sellados de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel.

¡Volviendo a lo básico, a todos los ángeles son espíritus ministradores!

HEBREO 1:14
¿No son todos ellos espíritus ministradores, enviados para servir por causa de los que heredarán la salvación?

No es un Espíritu

¡Manalo no es un espíritu! ¡Él no puede ser un ángel!

Pero examinemos sus explicaciones inventadas sobre "ángel".

Observe su doctrina confusa y desordenada sobre los ángeles. Una edición de su revista oficial, Pasugo, explica que un ángel no es un ser sino una ¡función!

La palabra ángel es el nombre de una función, no es de naturaleza. Porque son ... llamados ángeles cuando son enviados. (. 19 p)

Debido a que no pueden negar que Manalo es un ser humano, ¡afirman que un "ángel" no es una naturaleza o un ser sino una función! ¡Cuan astutos! Ellos han perfeccionado el engaño y el fraude sólo para que pudieran presentar a Manalo como un ¡ángel!

Los ángeles no se casan

Después de un intercambio de palabras en la televisión y en la radio entre los ministros del INC y yo (su siervo), dijeron que la palabra "ángel" no es sólo una función sino un estado de ser que puede ser tanto "espíritu" o "hombre. "Su Pasugo lo declara.

Un ángel podría ser un espíritu o un hombre en el estado de ser.

Este intento sólo muestra su interpretación errónea de las Escrituras y la maldad en su posición de que Manalo es un ángel.

Por una parte, un ángel de Dios ¡no se casa! Manalo casó ¡dos veces!

LUCAS 20:34-36
34 Y Jesús les dijo: Los hijos de este siglo se casan y son dados en matrimonio,
35 pero los que son tenidos por dignos de alcanzar aquel siglo y la resurrección de entre los muertos, ni se casan ni son dados en matrimonio;
36 porque tampoco pueden ya morir, pues son como ángeles, y son hijos de Dios, siendo hijos de la resurrección.

Había ángeles caídos que dejaron su propia morada.

JUDAS 1:6
Y a los ángeles que no conservaron su señorío original, sino que abandonaron su morada legítima, los ha guardado en prisiones eternas, bajo tinieblas para el juicio del gran día.

Sin embargo, yo no diría que Manalo es un ángel - ¡como uno de los que abandonaron su propia morada!

Manalo no puede, en ningún sentido, ser un ángel de Dios o un ángel caído, porque ambos ¡son espíritus en la naturaleza! La conclusión más segura es que él (Manalo) no es el ángel mencionó ¡subiendo desde el este!

A través de los Símbolos

La Biblia usa términos simbólicos, utiliza cada figura retórica para retransmitir o representar la verdad. Por lo tanto, árboles como el olivo esta figurativamente hablado para representar a dos personas: a los israelitas como el buen olivo y los gentiles como el olivo silvestre.

ROMANOS 11:24-25
24 Porque si tú fuiste cortado de lo que por naturaleza es un olivo silvestre, y contra lo que es natural fuiste injertado en un olivo cultivado, ¿cuánto más éstos, que son las ramas naturales, serán injertados en su propio olivo?
25 Porque no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis este misterio, para que no seáis sabios en vuestra propia opinión: que a Israel le ha acontecido un endurecimiento parcial hasta que haya entrado la plenitud de los gentiles;

A través de símbolos, fueron mencionadas las estrellas para significar "ángeles".

APOCALIPSIS 1:20
En cuanto al misterio de las siete estrellas que viste en mi mano derecha y de los siete candelabros de oro: las siete estrellas son los ángeles de las siete iglesias, y los siete candelabros son las siete iglesias.

El dragón simbólico o Satanás por su cola arrastraba la tercera parte de las estrellas del cielo y las arrojó sobre la tierra.

APOCALIPSIS 12:3-4
3 Entonces apareció otra señal en el cielo: he aquí, un gran dragón rojo que tenía siete cabezas y diez cuernos, y sobre sus cabezas había siete diademas.
4 Su cola arrastró* la tercera parte de las estrellas del cielo y las arrojó sobre la tierra. Y el dragón se paró delante de la mujer que estaba para dar a luz, a fin de devorar a su hijo cuando ella diera a luz.

Esta tercera parte de las estrellas en el cielo simboliza ángeles llamados ángeles del dragón o ángeles de Satanás.

APOCALIPSIS 12:9
Y fue arrojado el gran dragón, la serpiente antigua que se llama el diablo y Satanás, el cual engaña al mundo entero; fue arrojado a la tierra y sus ángeles fueron arrojados con él.

Estamos seguros de que la tercera parte de las estrellas en el cielo son estrellas simbólicas de ángeles. ¿Porque? Debido a que no es una sola estrella - si se trata de una estrella literal - puede ser contenida en el planeta tierra. Así que, ¿cuánto más la tercera parte de los miles de millones de estrellas en el cielo?

Las estrellas son símbolos de los cuales la realidad son los seres de los ángeles. ¡En ninguna parte de la Biblia se menciona que los ángeles - "todos los cuales son espíritus" - se utiliza para simbolizar cualquier otro ser, y mucho menos Manalo!

¡¿Cómo puede un espíritu, "no visto" o en otro término "invisible", simbolizar algo visible como Manalo?!

Teniendo en cuenta todas estas cosas, un estudiante honesto de la Biblia y un profesor honesto de la Palabra de Dios nunca interpretaría que los ángeles pueden ser humanos o que los humanos pueden ser ¡ángeles!
