Brave Browser: New Rewards "Sponsored Images" Spotted! Have You Seen It Already?

Western Digital was the first "Sponsored Images".

You don't have to click on it or anything.
You get rewarded just to see this background image!

They even have this "Western Digital Ad Campaign" ad.

This is just a regular click Brave Ad, but when you click it, it will show you a form and ask you about the image campaign and to fill out the form.

I don't think you will get anything from this form, but this might help their image campaign or Brave "Sponsored Images" strategy? ¯\(ツ)/¯

Like the existing images shown on the new tab page, these are full screen, immersive images. Each brand and each image is approved individually by Brave; and the format is limited to the large image and a small logo overlaid at the lower left.

Sponsored images are private. The ad acts more like a billboard than a typical digital ad — the sponsorship is the same for everyone in a given country.

Sponsored images appear by default in the image rotation, and are shown in every fourth new tab created. You can turn off sponsored images (or all background images) directly on the new tab page:

if only brave is not laggy,. i wpuld love to use it. It seems not old phone friendly, more over to my old PC

Really? My PC is like 10 years old 🤣 but it is working pretty fast to me.
Not sure about old phone though...

yes, it is an old PC, sometimes it crash, it is also because I open other application that made brave feels laggy
