[Ink on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.]

Honey muffin ice backed longitudinal flight controller.
Mysterious broken corn stalk.
Walking backwards into frigid pond.
Wasps and asps in lemon-lime jelly.
Handful of chromosome damage.
Peopled in the lawn liquid languide aforementioned flat line.
Promoting flame retardent hard cash.
Lost in the quality humus pot.
Never feeling quite as bright as shadow gloom undergarments.
Last call. Eat the sheets. Checks and balances on toast...

[We call that a "freestyle nonsense jam." It's a form of automatic poetry in which I let whatever word reaches the front of my brain first to drop out directly onto the page (or screen, in this case...) with as little censure as possible. MOST of the time, I'm more interested in the sound of the words (in my head) than what they mean. It's like a word collage, cut and paste concepts, almost in the William Burroughs / John Giorno style. And it's fun to write that way! (Try it sometime...)]

I suppose I should call it a night and go to bed. Work in the A.M., plus I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow! (Horrifying... I always wear a mask.) Not sure what else I'll work on... Maybe it's time to revise my TO DO list!!! Set some new goals, after double checking my priorities and values! What's important? What do I want? What makes me and the folks I care about happy??? How can I get that stand-up Donkey Kong machine that I desperately need??? I'll consider tonight and WRITE tomorrow...)

G'night!
