I wasn't going to post about this for another week, but something wonderful happened overnight and I need to share it.

Ready?

Wait for it...

Wait for ittt...

Look!

Do you see it?

I have a collarbone now! 😁💃💪

I love being able to see visible progress. As I don't use scales to weigh myself and instead rely on what I actually see, the camera is such a motivational tool.

Why don't I use scales?

Apart from the fact that I just don't own them, I tend to find physical appearance a greater show of progress. The number on the scales is created by so many different factors. If you have more muscle than fat, you weigh more. Apparently digital scales are also finicky. Place them in one room and then place them in another and you can get two different readings. According to some reviews I've read, even a change in temperature can alter the number on the scales.

So.

They just seem useless to me. I don't care how much I weigh per se, I care about how I look.

And I think I'm looking pretty good.

A couple of weeks ago I bought some new jeans. I have fat thighs that rub together as I walk, so I'm always on a quest to buy new jeans. Every few months I need a new pair because of the constant rubbing that leads to threadbariness and holes.

The pair that I bought are now giant and falling down as I walk, so I had to buy yet another pair of new jeans. I mean, that's fantastic, but at the same time it irks me because the jeans I buy aren't particularly cheap. The cheap ones barely last a month, City Chic ones at least last three.

Still. I am now wearing City Chic size 14's in their jeans, which is the smallest size this fat lady shop offers. They're a little bit snug but they fit and I can do stuff with no discomfort, so that's good.

I have officially dropped a size!

My lower half has anyway.

I know I have less of a belly now, and my waist is starting to become a bit more defined, AND I HAVE A COLLARBONE NOW, but my top half is still basically the same size it was before. I'll get there though!

I have a job interview tomorrow. It's only for 15-20 hours of retail a week, but if I succeed at woo'ing them and convincing them that I'm good for their business that's more walking and being on my feet a week! Everything helps! 😁

Not to mention more money, of course. Need every cent. 😬

Anyway, that's it from me for today. I'm not planning on doing an update for another fortnight, but was just so excited to actually see my collarbone this morning that I had to share.

😄😁😊

Thank you so much for stopping by and having a read,

See you next time! ❤️💪🏋

Haha!

Yeah, might be able to get a staff discount on vitamin c, magnesium, and collagen haha. That's about all I buy from pharmacy places.

Try and get iodine if you can. Good for thyroid and metabolism. Melotonin pills for deep sleep too.
