Starting my last rotation as an internal doctor

Hello friends, As always, I like to tell you how I have been during the last year of internships of my career, which is about to end since I am in the last rotation: gynecology and obstetrics.

I have only been in the service for 3 weeks and the last one I started in a different hospital, so I felt fear and stress since I was used to the hospital where I was always, but now I feel happy because it has been an excellent decision.

From obstetrics I have learned that each birth is a unique experience in which one is the guide for the mother to carry out this very important moment.

We learn to value life as it is the only branch of medicine where we help bring life to this world, as well as getting involved in the whole process, from orienting women to the preconception stage, during pregnancy and after .

But not everything is obstetrics, there is also gynecology where we study the health of the female sexual reproductive system, we perform cytologies for the screening of any benign or malignant cervical lesions, we treat sexually transmitted diseases in women, breast disorders, etc. .
