Rainy Days

Rainy days provide a welcome break to the nature, and humans, in between a hot season, or what I at least expect to continue as hot, or warm, because July is usually the warmest month in Finland. We've had incredible weather for weeks but it was time for some cooling down and rain to water the dry nature.

I've been having a cleaning day today, which I've been postponing for far too long for not wanting to waste sunny days being inside. Now after a long day cleaning, I'm rewarding myself with going for a restaurant and movies for the first time in months. Pretty exciting. I don't go out to eat that often, not even back when it was still normal, so it's always a rare threat for me.

I do like going to the movies every once in a while when there is something on that I really would like to concentrate on. I have such short attention span at home when I try to watch a movie, it's really hard to not do something on the phone at the same time. In the theatre there really is no choice but to watch the screen, and stuff popcorn into your face. I'm gonna see the Parasite, a Korean movie which I think won a lot of awards. I haven't watched the trailer because I always think they give away far too much, but I'm eager to see it.
