I forget to live
As hard it is to believe
Some days just go by
Leaving me wondering why

I forget to laugh
Especially when it gets hard
I guess am not so strong
And keep getting it Wrong

I forget to feel
Sometimes it gets too real
Shutting it out helps my sanity
Perhaps at the cost of my humanity

I forget to love
That one isn't my fault
Tired of giving everyone a chance
When it just comes to haunt me back
