Fencists
Observing the world from a mirror
Too scared to put ourselves out there
Thinking our observations make us superior
We judge rashly without a care
Mocking those who pick sides
As careless with this thing called life
But what we cannot hide
The feelings of emptiness and strife
Shall we then choose sides to go?
And follow the herd like lambs?
Can we follow and still say no
When passion makes us dumb
Be bold enough to pick a side
And brave to not be blinded
For a sitting fencist may hide
But the gullible end up wounded
