The nearest Chinese saying is 寧爲太平犬,莫做亂離人 which can be translated to better to be a dog during peacetime, than a human in times of war.

I think we are living in interesting times at the moment, as it is a global issue. The whole is at a start and I think it will the economy real hard. Lockdowns will be spread on a global scale and this will have a hard influence on the world.

The first to be hit will be the entertainment industry, like restaurants, bars, cinemas. There will be a shift to more augmented reality and virtual reality entertainment.

As it will have a snowball effect, a lot more people will be hit in different industries as a lot of production will be stopped due to supply chain issues. Valuable minerals will not be available due to blocking.

As in most crisis, there will be opportunities for the patience and prepared ones. That happens all the time. Also there will open new roads for new technologies and on new ways of doing thins.
