Sunday. Walk to The River

I haven't held checkers in my hands for a long time - the famous words of the Soviet-era book fraudster Ostap Bender.

It's been a long time since I took a walk in the direction of the river. The last walk was in early November last year. Today I did it with my wife and, of course, with the dog.

The walk was a bit strange. We walked to the river through the cemetery. We walked through the cemetery and met the graves of people we knew. I didn't even know that many of the people I knew were already dead. This is how it happens in our lives.

And the dog wasn't alone with us today. There were 3 of them! Our dog was accompanied by 2 of her friends. The dog was happy to walk today.

To my surprise, the road to the river was very good. The snowmobiles did their work. Thank you guys.

10 years ago, this place had gardens. People planted various vegetables here: potatoes, onions, beets, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and other edible herbs. Apple, pear, cherry, currant, gooseberry, and raspberry trees were planted.But then people stopped cultivating the land here and it was overgrown with these trees.

Due to the fact that this winter is very warm, the river is not frozen on all its course. I don't remember this in previous years. And very little snow. Probably, in the spring, the river will not even come out of its banks.

We went back to the unknown route, the path that the fishermen made. But it brought us to the right place.

We climbed the high Bank and came out on the high road, which we took to the street to return home.

On this street, almost all the houses were burned down by fires. And now these remnants of houses stand on this street. There was even a Palace of culture where we used to go to have fun on weekends when we were young. Now it's nothing.

So we returned again to the place where our walk began - the cemetery. There are 300 meters left and we will be home. Opposite the cemetery is a garden Association where people still cultivate the land.
