Astrology and the Bible
Why isn't every Christian well versed in astrology?
The Bible IS an astrology book, and if you don't know astrology you are missing out on a whole layer of meaning.
Here are some examples.
Bull
Moses came down from the mountain, and found the Israelites (Jews) worshipping a golden bull (yes, it is mistranslated in the modern Bible) and got angry at them worshipping false idols. (Because the earth had moved out of Taurus and into Aries)
Rams Horn
A shofar (pron. /ʃoʊˈfɑːr/, from Hebrew:, is an ancient musical horn typically made of a ram's horn, used for Jewish religious purposes. wikipedia
(where is Moses to come down from the mountain and be angry that they are not keeping up with the times?)
Fish
Everyone knows of the Jesus Fish
(Iesus came and told everyone that we have moved out of Aries and into Pisces)
Water Bearer
The dawning of the age of Aquarius.
What we see here is Precession of the equinoxes.
Taurus ♉ → Aries ♈ → Pisces ♓ → Aquarius ♒
And it is very important in understanding the time and place of Bible stories.
Bethlehem = House of Bread, where Iesus was born
Virgo = House of Bread, when Iesus was born
On December 22nd the sun reaches its lowest point south,
and comes to rest on the southern cross.
The SUN of God dies on the cross.
Three days later the sun moves north.
On December 25th, the SUN of God is born.
Almost every date involving Iesus is an astrological significant date. Christmas, Easter,...
There are so many astrological/astronomy references in the Bible, that astronomy should be a standard class taught in every church.
But it isn't.
In fact, astronomy is considered a tool of the devil.
And good christians are forbade from learning it.
Its like a group of people saying, don't go learn to read yourself, we will read the Bible for you. And we will keep it written in Latin.

Astrology is unbiblical nonsense. How dare you spread lies from the pit of hell on a Christian board!!
This is not a christian board, and these are not lies.
I gave some highlights of astrologically significant text in the Bible.
To me, the whole book is filled with astrologically significant text.
Without knowing astrology, you would never know what the Bible actually says.
Its worse than if the Bible was still written in only Latin. Then, you know you can't read it.
Today, you think you are reading it... but you are not.
Jesus wasn't literally born on December 25th. Celebrations like Easter and Christmas obviously came along after Jesus...many years after (Christmas by 336 A.D.). The dates for the celebrations were chosen by the church largely to ease the conversion of pagans who had celebrations on the equinoxes. They weren't chosen directly because of their astrological significance.
They WERE chosen directly because of their astrological significance.
And yes, Iesus was not born on Dec 25th,
Iesus was born in the House of Bread (Bethlehem) which means he was a Virgo (you know, the virgin)
Bet you never realized all these words had two meanings?
No, they were chosen because of the dates of other existing celebrations which had astrological significance. The astrology was significant for the old celebrations, not the new. In the case of Christmas, most likely the date was chosen because of the existing celebration of Saturnalia.
Bethlehem is a real city that was around at least 1300 years before Jesus was born. There are several possible meanings of Bethlehem including House of Food, House of Bread, House of War... However, it's also believed that it was named after an ancient fertility God and there have also been claims that this is the origin of Jesus too. If this is true then the etymology is likely different.
If the Bible is so much about astrology why do they seemingly try to obfuscate it entirely behind metaphorical content? Why are there a number of verses in the Bible that denounce it? One of the most direct probably being:
Isaiah 47:13 – “All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up. They cannot even save themselves from the power of the flame. Here are no coals to warm anyone; here is no fire to sit by.”
But there are others. See info about the Chaldeans, the origin of astrology and divination and the prohibitions against divination in the Bible for more. Even the apocrypha have denunciations of astrology.
The Bible basically says don't do astrology in a number of ways and places so Christians don't do astrology. I would think that would be obvious. Hidden messages are like conspiracies. You can find them in anything if you look hard enough. Sometimes you do have to read between the lines but you have to read the lines first.
I understand your position. I am well versed on the text.
All i can say is that the bible has be modified and abridged to give the "king" more power. (who decided to remove all those books from the bible?)
And the Bible telling people to not look into astrology and divination, is really hypocritical.
Like i said, the whole book is nothing but astrology (and divination.)
So what have ”you should not suffer a which to live” to do with astrology?

Does that sound like something a loving God would say, or something some Antifa person would write if they had control of the press?
Loving God? Are you thinking about Freja or maybe Ganesha?

Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love ... God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. (1 John 4:8, 16)
Oh, you mean the god Jehovah. No, a God is not good because of the God says he is good... Jehovah is not good if he is a God at all.
