The Ben and Lauren Show! Episode 38

In this episode we talked about our garden, late night walks, a trip to the west side of Michigan and canning pickles.

We kept this one shorter than usual. We love hearing from you! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Ha ha, no props. Making up from last week where we had an abundance of props! We'll make sure there's a Torah discussion too.

Have you thought about putting your son in his bed for a nap? This may make the transition a little easier. (You may have already started doing this) They sometimes will accept the difference in the daytime. Also some incentive for moving into his big boy bed. :)

Turkeyville sounds interesting. :) I have never heard this before, but, how cool! We have been having butterflies too in the last week!!! I cannot believe it!! I haven't seen them all summer, but, wow!! I got the camera out and went to town!

That is cool that you get the coupons for the Farmers Market and yes! It teaches the kids real life! I do love Farmers Markets and the freshness of everything. When you figure out how to teach them the concept of money, let me know. LOL I buy some baked good there, but, I usually make my own.

Back hurts? You can stretch and it will help a lot!

Oh, my!!! Skunks and me have stories and they always seemed to live in our woodpile!

The village sounds awesome and yes!!! You do have a busy life!!!! Thanks for the video and I love listening to the two of you.

Have a great week!

Thank you so much for watching the B&L Show, I hope you enjoyed it! It's fun recapping the week, it's sort of like sitting on the virtual "porch" chatting about what's going on in our lives. We also appreciate the tip, it's like the cherry on the top of your comment! :-)

We're going to try putting Daniel in his big boy bed for a nap, we'll see how that goes. Butterflies photograph well if they are still, they have a tendency to flutter off. The girls are beginning to grasp the concept of "price" and understanding that $4.00 for a big watermelon is a better DEAL than $4.00 licorice. That's good advice, we should look up online some stretching exercises, might help with the back pains. You should share some of your skunk stories sometime!

Thank you for your excellent comment!

There is an excellent one to realign your spine here:

Spinal Rotation Stretch
Lie on your back with your knees bent, your feet flat, and your arms outstretched in a T position.
Keeping the inside of your legs touching each other, let your knees gently fall out to the side. You should feel a stretch in your back.

I can tell you that works great if your spine is out of alignment. Lower back pain is another matter.
