BeerSaturday - I found something super disgusting to share 🤣

I don't post every week but that's because I generally drink the same beer most of the time. This time of year my fridge is full of Schwarzbier by Genesee. Ive posted about these before and absolutely love them! Hands down my favorite seasonal!

Well today I was out running some errands and decided to stop by the local beverage center. As I shopped around looking for something different I came across this disgusting gem! Yes, that's it in the glass, and it really is pink! Pink beer! 🤢

It's called a Bud Light Chelada and it's a combination of Bud Light lager and Clamato!

Now some of you may not know about the joys of Clamato or what this concoction consists of. Apparently at one time, someone had the genius idea of combining Clam Juice with Tomato Juice then cutely combining the words to give it the charming name of Clamato. If this desecration of a fruit often mistaken as a vegetable wasn't bad enough, some joker thought it might be a good idea to mix said concoction with beer!

Honestly, I'd like to know what drove someone to this madness? And who talked the fine folks over at Budweiser into canning this monstrosity? I'm convinced this is some sort of bizarre government psyop or quite possibly the flat earthers have something to do with it all.

Now not to be a complete snob, I do happen to enjoy a well made Clamato Bloody Mary from time to time. This is also known as a Bloody Ceasar when made with Clamato.

Well, I digress. Returning to the disgustingness that is the Bud Light Chelada we've now combined the wonderfulness of Clamato with Bud Light Lager. I had no idea it was Bud Light either. There were two different cans, I'm guessing the other was regular Budweiser, not that it would have any chance of improving this FrankenBeer.

For some reason I thought, maybe, just maybe it would pair well with this frozen pizza. I was hugely mistaken. 🤣

Now I was told on Twitter this is a Mexican hangover cure.

I would only hope there's a good reason for stocking the shelves with something so vile! Maybe, some people enjoy burping up the delicious after taste of Clamato. Tastes even better the second time around!

Now to be fair, on a scale from 0 to 10 on the disgustometer. 10 being complete dog shit and 0 being somewhere around pickled eggs, anchovies, or a jelly bean that is supposed to taste like popcorn, I'd give this about a 5.

So there you have it. That's my unique find for this weeks #BeerSaturday. Sometimes you see something so disgusting you have to buy it to find out if it truly is as bad as you thought.

I can happily report, this totally lived up to my expectations!
