I had a friend over before Christmas and he bought along half a dozen cans of Long Island Iced Beer. I haven't had this before, and it was as interesting one

Let me show you the can 360 degrees first. Starting from the front, there's 9.9 in big yellow letters, that's because this is a 9.99% alcohol content beer. The bottom of the can is in the same shade of yellow with the name of beer on it. The logo of the beer company is on the right.

Turning around a bit, is a lemon and a half, that represents the citrus flavour of the beer. There's another nine, that's the last 9 of the 9.99%.

And turning round to the back of the can, bet you didn't know you needed to be taught how to drink like a pro?!! We skipped steps 1 and 3, opened the beer with a sparkling smile, and said cheers to one another. Guess we're not the pro we thought we were after all.

This beer has a very nice citrus flavour, a bit like Bulldog and is very easy on the palette. Despite it being 9.99%, my friend and I each downed 3 can's that evening, plus a dram of whisky, and some local rice wine, but that's all for another story.
