Beer Tasting: Twisted Thistle IPA
Hello beer tasters!
Life is going on, the new beer is here (after the job). It had been in the fridge all week and nobody has touched it. So, it's mine now. Cold, ready to taste.
Twisted Thistle IPA
Bold bitter bright ale on the sticker, 0.33 l bottle, alcohol 5.6% ABV. Brewed by Belhaven Brewery, Dunbar, Scotland. They celebrate 300 years of brewing this year. Nice.
Clear amber color, foam average with small bubbles. The first sip is bitter at first, hops are felt then it turns into the medium sweetness of the malt and some fruity aromas at the end. I was expecting a more pronounced bitterness of the IPA beer, which was not here, but still refreshing.
Not bad beer, I could drink it regularly. You know this saying (I just made it out of apples) - one beer a day drives the desease away :)
