Force of Gravity is an imperial American stout with hazelnut, vanilla and coco that’s been barrel aged in the finest bourbon barrels. If you think that sounds decadent, you have hit the nail on the head. This beer is rich, complex and worth every penny.

When say it’s worth the penny. I think in paid $9/can! However, this 2018 vintage is now valued at more than that. The first impression of this beer is how damn dark it is. Honestly, it’s dark as the deepest depths of space. The aroma while cold is muted. I get the coco and bourbon, but the Hazelnut and vanilla is much more subtle. The flavor is so decadent with notes of deep dark chocolate, roasted hazelnuts, mouthwatering vanilla and a boozy bourbon flavor that cuts through any lingering sweetness. For a 14.5% ABV beer There is almost no alcoholic burn which makes this dangerously good. Let me tell you I was pretty hammered after 1 pint.

Mouth feel it’s a little thinner than I expected but as it warms I get a little thicker. The coats the tongue and mouth in a velvety smooth film. All I can say is I’m glad it’s stout whether because this is not a summer beer. I’ll keep you warm on the coldest of days.
