A mere mortal couldn't possibly brew any of the beers I'm about to review and, furthermore, the flavour that's packed into each of these vessels is truly out of this world. Only mystic beings have the power to infuse such tastes and I'd like to imagine that the brewery is located on a super-secretive part of Area-51.

Welcome to Amundsen, everybody! A place where ordinary ideas get blasted into outer space and directed at the nearest black hole then retrieved from the other side and brought safely back to earth.

My first example from this boozy black hole is Amundsen's Barrel-Aged Dessert Can. Rocky Road Ice Cream...

"Houston, we have no problems at all. Everything is hunky-dory and we're not coming home until we collect every single drop of this B.E.A.UTIFUL BEER...Hiccup...We've run out of rocket-fuel but with an alcohol content of 11% Amundsen has secured our return...Hiccup!"

"Houston to Apollo...Message received, but can you give any more detail?"

"Ashpollo to Houshton...We're collecting a dark lishquid that schmells of Batternburg cake but tashted like Tiramasu!"..."BUUURPP!!"

"Houston to Apollo. Well done. What is your expected payload?"

"Houstlo to Apillon...Hiccup! The Captain is down and the 2nd lieutenant, Buck Powers, is booty-calling his ex. I am currently hiding as much of the payload as posshible. Maybe I'll tell you where it is...and maybe I won't...What's in it for me?"

"Houston to Apollo. We'll pay you as much as you want. You just make sure to get back with enough for everyone..."
