Despite Dark Clouds, it is a Beautiful and Sublime Sunday

It looks like the skies are being overrun by heavy clouds.

And now it is starting to drizzle!
I certainly hope I reach home before it pours.
The storm clouds remind me of a beautiful poem by Maya Angelou. You may be familiar with this one. The title of the poem is ALONE.

The poem below is one of the highlights from her collection of love poems.

I am thinking of taking a vacation day tomorrow, and just cuddle up in bed with my beautiful Yorkies, and read a book, or just knit, or eat cup of soup....
Where did you get that moji-you? Let me find some right now... Oh, here is one: how about board games! Which reminds me... I do have an extensive collection of board games, I think I will show it later or one of these days.

Yes, I did make it home before the heavy downpour! We are having stormy weather here.... and the rain somehow makes me feel chilly, even when it is warm inside my home.

Thats good to know, looks like we will have rain most of the day tomorrow but thats not so bad i will be in meetings all day at work so I can handle that and not get frustrated for not getting out for walks,

I had a very lazy day today and thats what I needed :)

Clouds just give the sky a little character do't you think?

I went to the beach last night and snapped this one...I don't mind the clouds...Although I suppose constant rain gets tiring after a while. Thankfully I live in Australia though where every day is simply perfect. 😃

This shot is straight out of my camera (Olympus) Waited for ages for the bloody kids to stop splashing in the puddle on the beach to get the reflections.

Thanks hun...But you overstate my photography prowess by a long way...I used the auto-setting pointed and shot it. I'm probably the worst photographer on the planet...But I get lucky sometimes.

I can't enjoy Sunday as it's 11:30am Monday here...But I can reminisce about last Sunday and pine for next Sunday.

Yes, and I was so glad I did! I don't do well in heavy rains... hehehe! I prefer to be indoors (and in my warm home during storms. I have a friend, and she enjoys driving in the rain.

Good to hear luckily i have been living in Thailand now for 10 years and have not come across any vicious typhoons yet they are more in Japan and China 👍
