MLB 2020 - Change and Excitement

The arrival of the new year, for better or worse, seemed to be a turning point for me... in regards to baseball appetite. All of the sudden, I think I am ready for MLB 2020.

I was bummed to see the Dodgers fall early last season but ended up rooting for the Nationals as they cruised on. How do you not respect Scherzer?

As for the off season and the hot stove season, things have been pretty interesting. To see the news break on the 2017 Astros cheating in their World Series victory season was off-putting. It's actually pretty funny to watch some of the videos breaking it down.

From there, a few big players have moved to new homes. Garrit Cole to the Yankees makes them a top threat, as if they weren't already.

The Nationals lock in Stephen Strasburg and still have Soto and Scherzer, though they lost Rendon.

Will the Rocks trade Arenado?
The Diamondbacks added Bumgarner.
The White Sox grabbed Dallas Keuchel and Yasmani Grandal.
Where does Josh Donaldson land?
Hyun-Jin Ryu finished his time with the Dodgers and now wears a Blue Jays uniform.

In the meantime, the Giants, the Orioles, the Diamondbacks, and the Marlins make huge strides in their farm systems (the Marlins signed Matt Kemp to a minor league deal and invited him to spring training; I hope he makes a second comeback somehow).

What comes next? We shall see!

Be well.
