Time To Chill In The Pool, After a Long Hot Walk around the Lake

Dang!! This swimming pool feels amazing after a long walk around Bennington lake this morning. I have kept the solar cover on for the past couple days and what a difference it has made. Warmed it up like bath water.

It ain’t no fancy pool but it gets the job done. It’s only a 9’X18’ and 48” deep but it’s better than a poke in the eye if you know what I mean. We use a salt-water system and we love it. You can open your eyes all you want and your skin doesn’t get all dried out. Another great thing is we don’t have to add a bunch of chemicals to it. Crystal clear and the maintenance is very minimal. Skim the top, vacuum it, and give it a good brushing once a week. Of course make sure the salt levels, PH, and others are correct. A big upgrade I made was getting a sand filter. I chose to get a pump and filter bigger than the job at hand... go big or go home. The pump and filter that came with the pool was small and weak and we fought a dirty pool all year. What a nightmare!!!
