Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️

The general technique of this drawing is composed of multiple layers of shadows and brightness with different opacities and mixing modes, between normal, multiply darkness and add luminosity.

La técnica general de este dibujo está compuesta de múltiples capas de sombras y brillos con diferentes opacidades y modos de mezclas, entre normales, oscuridad multiplicar y luminosidad añadir.

Below is a series of images where you can see the progress of the drawing with their respective duration. Execution time of 8 hours. Each section of the drawing took an average of 80 minutes to complete.

A continuación, se muestra una serie de imágenes donde se puede observar el avance del dibujo con su respectiva duración. Tiempo de ejecución comprendido de 8 horas. Cada sección del dibujo tomo un promedio de 80 minutos en completarse.

We begin the drawing with a sketch, then we opaque the layer and we define the delineation of the drawing with all the details that compose it.

Iniciamos el dibujo con un boceto, luego opacamos la capa y definimos el delineado del dibujo con todos los detalles que lo componen.

With the help of the felt-tip pen, we apply the base colour to the whole character, from the skin, hair, features and clothing.

Con ayuda del rotulador pasamos a aplicar el color base a todo el personaje, desde la piel, cabello, facciones y vestimenta.

We change the brush for the airbrush, in this step we are going to apply shadows and shines to the skin, separating them in different layers. We give shape to the features of the face.

Cambiamos de pincel por el aerógrafo, en este paso vamos a aplicar sombras y brillos a la piel, separándolas en capas diferentes. Damos forma a los rasgos del rostro.

We define even more the features of the face. We use the feather brush to give shape to the hair, and the airbrush to give a slight shade to it.

Definimos aún más los rasgos del rostro. Usamos el pincel pluma para dar forma al cabello, y el aerógrafo para dar un leve sombreado al mismo.

With the airbrush we accentuate brightness and shadows in the clothing section, using the method of mixing multiply for dark areas and add for light areas.

Con el pincel aerógrafo acentuamos brillos y sombras en la seccion de la vestimenta, usando el método de mezcla multiplicar para zonas oscuras y añadir para las zonas claras.

Now to finish we design the background, using a mixture of red and blue colors, passing through the Gaussian filter, to achieve a uniform degradation.

Ahora para finalizar diseñamos el fondo, usando una mezcla de los colores rojo y azul, pasando por el filtro de gaussiano, para lograr una degradación uniforme.

✴Bonus / Bono

As a bonus, a glowing effect was created, superimposing a base layer of blue color at low opacity and erasing certain sections to achieve an effect of light, then with the airbrush and another layer as a mixture to add, the brightness was reinforced.

Como bono, se creó un efecto resplandeciente, superponiendo una capa base de color azul a baja opacidad y borrando ciertas secciones para lograr un efecto de luz, luego con el pincel aerógrafo y otra capa a modo mezcla añadir, se reforzaron los brillos.

The design of the drawing consists of a total of 25 layers, these are distributed in sections following an order or hierarchy for proper visualization. The following images show a summary of them grouped according to similar characteristics.

El diseño del dibujo consta de un total de 25 capas, estas están distribuidas en secciones siguiendo un orden o jerarquía para su correcta visualización. En las siguientes imagenes se muestra un resumen de las mismas agrupadas según características similares.
