Sci-fi Portrait - Character from another Galaxy

Hello my babies, how are you?

On this day I worked on a subject in which I had a lot but a long time that I did nothing, these are fictional characters or Aliens until today that I broke up with that long time and did something about the subject. I do not know why, but I have the false image that a being from another galaxy, would have the image of a weirdo, something like a monster and well, the truth is not just me, since the film and videogames industry also they portray this way... but what if these more intelligent beings from space are beautiful creatures? They could even be invisible and right now while reading this you have one next to you. LOL

The truth of the matter is that my illustration, according to me, is a creature of space, would be someone of royalty or perhaps, of a status or level higher than that of the other inhabitants of your planet.

Well my dear Steemians is all for today, I hope to have some illustration finished for tomorrow, grateful for the support and as usual below this some images of how I worked on my new Scifi character.

As always, I started with a simple sketch of the idea I wanted for my character.

In this part, place grayscale values ​​(To try again to improve on this technique).

Already in this part I began to detail things with a harder brush than in the previous step.

Here you already had all my character ready, I just had to go from the gray scale to the colors.

FINAL RESULT


Place the colors using overlay and soft ligth and some other adjustment that I made, in the end to add texture to my character I took some photos to the bark of some trees of my house and added it as texture to the character and voila!!! XD

pretty nice just using a Bamboo (they don't make those anymore) - I put mine away, it is gathering dust. I am more of a "unplugged" artist when it comes to drawing and painting. Never tried the big Wacom (Mobile Studio or Cintiq) - too expensive.

The truth is that mine bought it used since the new ones were very expensive for me, until now my Bamboo I love it, for me it is very good... of course, I imagine that a Cintiq should be much better, but I think that never I'll know.

You should take it out every now and then and create your art with it, so that Bamboo doesn't carry so much dust. ;)

Hola cariño, muchas gracias por ver mi trabajo... la verdad es que me gustaría compartirlo en la comunidad de @juliaksponford pero la verdad lo veo como un abuso, realmente no estoy muy de acuerdo con eso de las publicaciones cruzadas y justo esta publicación ya la publique una vez y la compartí en OCA y una tercera vez en otra comunidad es como un abuso de mi parte.

Creo que todos en algún punto en la vida sentimos que somos de otro planeta (mas que todo cuando comparamos nuestros gustos personales con los de los demás) así que no eres la única con esa idea XD
Me gusta mucho el diseño de tu alíen se nota que es de un planeta acuático, lo que mas me gusta es que sus rasgos pueden ser de una criatura de terror pero por la expresión que le pusiste, se ve que es un ser amigable, noble y pacifico, increíble diseño

Si vale es toda una buena persona "Aliens", así como yo. XD

Pense en eso y por eso cambie un poco su expresión ya que la idea era que transmitiera que era amigable y no algo de terror.
