"Winter is Coming" - Mixed Media G-O-T Fan Art (With Video / Steps)

I'm still having a hard time with portraits; it seems to be hit and miss with achieving a good likeness. While Jon Snow is pretty much recognizable, Daenerys looks like she came straight from "The Walking Dead" ;-) Maybe I should do a painting from that show next? Of course, for a better fit I can always change the title of the painting. "Moses and Kunigund" comes to mind...
Anyway, the morphing video below shows the development of my painting:
Portraits fallen mir immer noch schwer; mal klappt's mit der Erziehlung einer guten Ähnlichkeit, mal nicht. Jon Schnee kann man recht gut erkennen, aber Daenerys sieht aus als ob sie einer "Walking Dead"-Episode entsprungen wäre. ;-) Vielleicht sollte ich mal was aus der Serie malen? Naja, damit es besser passt, kann ich ja immer noch den Titel ändern. "Moses und Kunigunde" zum Beispiel...

Portraits are incredibly difficult. This is pretty good though. I agree that Jon Snow is better, but Daenarys is pretty good as well.
Thanks for your kind words. The strange thing is, the first sketch with eyes and a little shading would usually make a decent drawing. And then it often goes downhill from there...
Yeah I see what you're saying. It would make a good sketch. But practicing is the only way to get better and painting is challenging, so keep at it :)
