A funny deer with a lot of leaves ^_^

Happy Saturday to you all! This morning I woke up early in the morning and so I decided to use the time before to open the bookshop to sketch something new. While I was drinking the first cup of coffee of the day, I sketched a funny deer and I just finished to paint it!

It's a funny deer with a lot of little delicate leaves on the body and on the horn too. The deer is one of my favorite subject to paint, but this month I'm helping my friend Elena in her bookshop and so I have less time to paint what I want. Fortunately the bookshop is close to my home and so I can use the pause for lunch to work on my artworks ^_^

I also took a pic during the process, just to show you the chaos on my working table:

It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and this is a detail:

Now I have to go again to the bookshop because there will be a book signing of a writer I love. Tomorrow I'll wrote about it!
