Drawers block!

This a real problem for some! And it really sucks when you suffer from it! You have a pen, you have some paper and you want to draw but meehhhh Nothing comes out! What I love to do at those moments is just sit down with some nice music on the background, at least 3 different snacks, some coffee and pen with paper. I just start to draw lines with no intension to draw anything. Just lines and curly thingies, perhaps a few circles... Just go with no thoughts on your mind.

In most cases you will end up with a piece of paper with some lines and forms, shapes ... And that is okay... BUT, sometimes, half way in the drawing you look at it and think.... OMG.... wait a minute this looks like a .....Fill in what ever it looks like and work from there. That is what happened to me last night when I had nu clue what to draw. All I knew was that I had to clear my head. I started to eat some snack, sipped from my midnight coffee and just started to put some lines on paper. It really helps, even if you end up with a drawing that looks like nothing! At least you are putting your pen to paper and force your creative part of the brain to work.

Specs:

Staedtler pigment marker numbers 0.5 and 0.05
Verhaak a5 paper.

Fun fact:

You will see it when you have read this.... This weirdo dog got hit by a windmill, you can find parts of the mill still on his head! There are worse hats out there in the world me thinks!

This was a quick 15 minute drawing and I really had fun doing so. Perhaps because of the perfect little snack I had but... Ya know.

Progress pictures.

friendly reminder not to scream at me for the bad pictures. It's really hard taking them at 3 am while jiggling a pen, coffee and cookies around! :P
