The glass artist is at it again with a woman figure!

I have posted some of his stunning works before and you simply have to visit his website at the link on this post. Louis Chanu is the artist and he also works with bronze.

She looked in a deep meditation state here!

Beautiful colors in the figure above!

This lady holds an arc of live butterflies!

270.jpg

Simply because the sculpture is called "Mother Nature"!

And look at the intricate artwork on the back of "Mother Nature!

This silver one above is new and I couldn't find a title for it!

272.jpg

But I like the clear and intricate designs!

Finished off with a butterfly on her back!

The sculptures are all displayed at the Lourensford Wine Estate in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.
There is a large food market on the estate where fresh and hot international foods are offered to the public.
Live music and locally brewed lager and famous wines are also on offer.

Here is a link to the artist's website:

I leave you with this!

What a beautiful glass sculpture, amazing. I never saw these types of sculptures made of glass, this is the first time I am seeing it. I have seen many crystals and decorative pieces of the human body but not like this one.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Glad that you liked it my friend. There is a website link on the post that you just have to look at. All of his other works are on that website and you will be amazed.

My pleasure to share and hope that you will have a good new week!

Thank you milady!
Best news is that I am seeing the artist on Thursday and he is in the process of moving his studio here to our town, as he wants to be closer to the beach. He made a video here on the beach featuring one of his full size glass sculptures with the sea and the sunset as a background and it looks fantastic.
I have the video and will post it soon!

Thank you Hannes,

Yes, he uses a "glass epoxy resin" and the statues are baked in a high degree oven. It forms beautiful big bubbles inside the statues and of course they are all totally sunlight and hail resistant.

I hope that you clicked on the link to his website?

Cheers and thanks!

I haven't clicked the link yet, but I'll do it later. That's a great idea - the statues look like ice sculptures which we can see sometimes in the cities. They look great too, but they don't last very long 😉

Now that's the trick Hannes,
The statues will last for many years as they are made with a new "glass epoxy compound". The trick is in the oven bake, as they could only bake at low temperatures before, but this guy has developed a system that can bake at very high temperatures.

He told me that they even sent two representatives from the compound manufacturers in France here to come and see how he does it.
The higher temp that they are baked at the more resistant they become, almost like stainless steel.

Cheers and thanks!

May you have a good rest Hannes! Good Night to you guys!

Good afternoon Hannes,

Sadly not, as all his stuff is crated for the move, so we decided that it would be better for me to wait until he gets back into production over here in our town.
So, it will take a bit longer, but it will be done my friend!
He did a photo shoot of some of his work on our beach here and you might have seen this on his website?

I think it will be worth waiting a bit longer.

I'm sorry but I forgot to look at his website, but this image looks stunning with the sunset reflecting through the glass 😃

Good evening Hannes,

Just managed to post now and my replies did not work, so I now sit with a heap of catching up to do!

I decided to wait for a late time to post and to answer and I hope that this reply will get through to you.
Please confirm!

No, I can't confirm because I didn't get your comment 😂 lol

I have also had problems to post and commenting and replying didn't work most times. That's why I'm going to shut down for today.

So I hope it will work again tomorrow and wish you a good night Zac 😊

I think it will take even longer, what reminds me on the hardforks on the other blockchain 🙄
Let's hope everything will work fine soon again.

My day was quite okay and I hope your day too 🔆

Yes, I think that you are right about it taking longer.
But this Engage site works like a charm Hannes.
No red pop up warning signals and I can really get used to this!

My day was also good thank you!

Cheers and thanks!

Well, I had to come and look here in Hive.blog to find the post that I posted an hour ago.
It disappeared in PeakD, but thankfully Ekaw found it here.
So now I am also replying here in Hive.blog

Cheers and thanks!

We have had all this after hard forks on the other blockchain. As I have no idea about the scripts and codes I cannot blame anyone and only hope that all apps will run smoothly again soon.

Yeah, you are right and I saw that there are many facets to a HF Hannes,
Anything that involves a lot of people in different parts of the world, to work in combination is bound to suffer a few leaks somewhere.
It will come right in time and then when all is going well, it will be time for 5the next HF lol.

Cheers and thanks!
