Meet a smiling HeliCop!

Now where are the drawing artists here on steemit?

Bet you have never seen a smiling dragonfly?
We named him "HeliCop" because dragonflies were used to design helicopters. The "Heli" part of his name is thus related to Helicopter and the "Cop" part is because the big eyes across the top of his head look like a traffic cop's helmet Lol.
But the great difference here is that this one looks like he is smiling at me.
See the smile just above his chinny, chin, chin Hahaha.
I posted a few more dragonflies as templates for artists to draw, or just for you to enjoy!
Let's have a look below!

Note: This post could also be good for #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay and #makemesmile by @elizacheng

Look at that friendly little smile Lol.

A friendly little "Cape Skimmer" dragonfly.

And finally here he is giggling about something!

Here's a side view of another one and they are all youngsters, as the dragonfly season began at the beginning of October. Which is the Spring season here in South Africa.

Oh! I almost forgot to show you our latest 24 hour flower. The "Hedgehog", specie name; "Echinopsus cactus" only blooms for 1 day. (I have posted about some of the others before)

I am sure that some artists can have fun by drawing these pictures and hope to see some attempts posted.
And if you are not an artist we hope that you have enjoyed the pictures.
Nature has a way to make us all feel good and at most times also happy!

We thank you for the visit to a post by @papilloncharity

Amazing shots, Sir Stephen. :pie the happy little helicop. I wonder how many other inventions modelled after the designs already in nature?

Thank you and most of human life was modeled after nature Lady Jo.
We have only improved on the early designs.
Centuries ago early man saw animals living inside caves and this prompted man to build his own shelters, the swallows taught man how to build mud huts. Just one example here.

He sure is smiling at you enjoying the warm sun.

Our dragonflies are out in huge numbers, weaving and darting around, way too quick for me to capture them on camera, definitely live up to the name helicopter insects for sure Stephen.

You have to start getting those Lady Joan, as it would drive me mad!
Look for the high thin bare branches sticking out at the top of a bush or a tree. They love sitting on it to wait for prey. They only sit for a second or two and you have to be quick on the draw, but I am sure that you can get them. Sometimes I also get them on the tips of large spiked cactus.
Blessings!
