Hello, there, people of the Blue Forest!

Presently having something woodlandy on my mind I tried various ways to get a nice-looking forest with trees at different depths. This piece was one of the trials. A bit less patience applied, perhaps, but still, there were things that turned out well enough for me to share a few steps. Here they are...

Step 1

At this point I was even thinking of abandoning the original plan and attempting a Western Movies style ghost town. I did not get enough courage. But you can see it emerging, right?

Step 2

Leaving that Ghost Town no chance of success, not in recent weeks, at least.

Step 3

A.K.A. The Thumbnail Step.

Step 4

A.K.A. The 'Good, What Now?' Step.

What now, indeed?

We'll see. Maybe I finish this at some point. Maybe not...
