Justo en el momento que decido aislar mi arte hacia la fantasia, recuerdo un famoso concurso en hive elaborado por @splinterlands, donde abuandan personajes fantasticos y magicos, esta obra encaja perfectamente en la astilla de agua, sirenas que buscan ganar la batalla mediante un encantador poder del que ningun otra astilla podra resistirse una belleza que desviara tu mirada y te llevara a perder un gran proceso de estrategia que habias pensado para ganar la batalla...

Just at the moment that I decide to isolate my art towards fantasy, I remember a famous hive contest elaborated by @splinterlands, where fantastic and magical characters abound, this work fits perfectly into the splinter of water, mermaids who seek to win the battle through a charming power that no other splinter can resist a beauty that will divert your gaze and lead you to lose a great process of strategy that you had thought to win the battle...

Proceso | Process

Primer paso: El boceto, es donde creamos la mayor parte de lo que queremos, despues tener lineas entendibles, continuamos al segundo paso:

First step: The sketch is where we create most of what we want, after having understandable lines, we continue to the second step:

Segundo paso: Way, estoy enamorado de la tecnica de color en gris, siento que lleva mis ilustraciones a un siguiente nivel, respecto a las profundidades que genera esta tecnica sobre la piel de mis personajes, tomo tres tonos de grises y que empiece el proceso de union de color:

Second step: Way, I am in love with the gray color technique, I feel that it takes my illustrations to the next level, regarding the depths that this technique generates on the skin of my characters, I take three shades of gray and that the process of joining of color:

Tercer paso: una vez mezclamos todo el color de la piel es momento de detallar las otras partes de la ilustracion:

Third step: once we mix all the skin color, it is time to detail the other parts of the illustration:

Cuarto paso: momento de agregar color a la escala de grises, para ello uso los modos de capa, intento aplicar distintos modos de capa uno encima del otro para obtener los colores deseados, mi primer intento en realizar escamas no funciono, luego procedi a cargar una textura que agilizo el proceso y dio un resultado extraordinario sobre la piel:

Fourth step: moment to add color to the grayscale, for this I use the layer modes, I try to apply different layer modes one on top of the other to obtain the desired colors, my first attempt to make scales did not work, then I proceeded to load a texture that streamlined the process and gave an extraordinary result on the skin:

Ajusté detalles finales y así obtuve el fino resultado:
