Finished Pottery Pieces

Today when I went back to my pottery class, my teacher gave me a couple of my pieces that had just come out of the kiln.

One piece I plan to use as a kitchen utensil holder. I am not sure Of how I will use the other piece. It has a black ice glaze on it, which gives it a mirror finish.

I tried putting an egg shaped candle in it, and it looked OK. I will have to give away many of these pieces because I really don’t have a use for them. I am trying to get better at using the pottery wheel. If I get good enough, then I will be able to sell my final products.

In the meantime though, I will have to give these pieces away to family and friends.
