FRONTAGES | Documentary Photography
In my previous publication, I was talking about the way we relate to an unusual space like the beach. A place more directly thought of with enjoyment and distraction than anything else.
Being this my fourth time taking pictures at the beach I started to see other things that I hadn't seen before. Naturally, all beach towns are different and have very different attractions... From Patanemo I was surprised to realize a particular staging. I was able to realize the ritual of going to the beach as a tourist and as a resident, my own ritual as a photographer... I think that's why this trip finally allowed me to have a more direct approach to space and the people who are photographed.

Starting from there, I was very impressed by the frontages of the stores in Patanemo Beach. From the native to the grim, without leaving the interest to look showy. Perhaps given the proximity of this beach to the city of Valencia, there is an aesthetic intention in the premises that I had not seen before in other beaches, where they seek to be very beautiful or do not seek anything but the practicality.

The chosen one
The best thing was to know who lived in these frontages. Some were also homes. Other stores of a thousand things, but the truth was always a good disposition to be photographed, they know that they prepared these houses for something. This experience stays as My little treasure, as for themselves.
