Last week when I went for my Wednesday Walk, my intent was to go to the depot in the next town over, which I did (and posted about last Wednesday) ..... and to find some sculptures that I had seen online and get a few photos....which I did !.... and I will show you later, I promise.

To my surprise, when I went around the last corner to get into the parking lot I had chosen, I got a glimpse of wild color on the back of some of the buildings. All of the sudden I was excited and couldn't wait to get back around there to see. I parked the car, got out my phone and went the short distance back where those colors had grabbed my attention.

To my total delight, THIS is what I found.... oh my.... SO much color !!

It was pretty neat how everything was painted to blend in, the door, the pipe going up the wall.

I couldn't help but think of @tattoodjay ...... he lives in the big city and frequently shares some fun street art.

I live in a small city within a cluster of small cities and there isn't quite enough of this around, for my tastes that is.

I know this isn't the traditional graffiti style street art, but it was BIG and BOLD and OUTSIDE..... so it had the "FEEL ! " 🙂

2 right side.jpg

It was neat how it looked as it continued around the corner where the building backs were offset.

I think it might be fun to go to work here if you got to walk through these doors every morning.

I went by later when the doors were closed and took a couple more shots as the first day there was a car parked out there loading or unloading. No matter which way they were, it was a beautiful sight.

If you haven't had your WILD COLOR fix today..... well.... here you go !

Hope you all had a very happy day. Work was a B for me today and I'm glad it is over! Our main work program was "updated" and it had more bugs than.... umm... well... .places that have lots of bugs... .or maybe it was just possessed. I told them to have it fixed before I get back on Thursday. LOL !! I'm sure that will get them in gear !

HA !!

Love you !

That took some time I am sure for them to paint, pretty cool looking.

That's what I was thinking, especially since it is on brick and you have to paint on the unlevel surfaces while keeping the lines of color straight.

I thought it was pretty cool too !

Thanks .....

Today will definitely be the better day, as I have the day off also. In the years when I don't take a week off here or there for a traditional, out-of-town vacation, I spend my vacation days by taking many Wednesday's off in the fall of the year. This way, I only work 4 days a week for several months and I never work more than 2 days at a time ! I love it this way.

Since my wife has been ill and we do not get away for vacations thats what I do now and again as well two two day weeks are easier to handle than a 5 day week LOL

For so many years I never really thought about taking Wednesdays, I mean, who does that ??? ....but for some reason, one year, something or other was happening and I ended up taking Wednesday off 2 weeks in a row and I found I kind of liked it. I can stand almost anything for 2 days at a time.. .LOL ! It works for me and I think it is like a good mental health thing to have a good while where there is no 5 day work weeks. That's my theory at least.

I can take a few telecommute days a month at the moment and where possible I take them on Wednesdays :) I two can handle two days of most things LOL
so I do agree with your theory

I found this post thanks to @miti-blog work, and his Curation Project: Undervalued Deserving Contents. Your work deserves way better, I'm happy to give you my upvote. Cheers, Nicola @knfitaly

It had me wondering how long it had been there, although it looked very fresh.

I don't go through that area often, but I do from time to time and I had never noticed it before.

It made me smile.

Wednesday before this week's walk, a friend told me where I might find two more murals. Maybe that will be next Wednesday's walk.

I love outdoor art.... I sure do and you know how much I love bold color, so I was mesmerized being so close to it and taking photos.
