Spider Man Wall Mural Painting - Process Photos and Video of Process
(Edited)
Hi Steemians, this is a spider man wall mural I did back when i was 14 on my bedroom wall which would be roughly 7 years ago now and thought I would share the process with you.
I began with a pencil sketch and then started painting the head. I used water based acrylics for colour.
I used various tones of red over the head and body
My little sister helps me here paint the legs.
Adding further detail to the head. Spiderman took about 4 hours to paint overall and it was quite fun!
Painting the buildings in the background took quite long and started to lose motivation pretty quick.
I then finally painted the background sky with dark blues and blacks.
If you would like to see a timelapse of the process here's the video -
Final result
Thanks for checking out my post and supporting my work :)

Thanks! I've been drawing and painting as long as I can remember :)
This is awesome! It's inspirational to see your dedication to so many hours of work. And you let your sister help, that is so sweet! Great post :)
Thanks, she would have been about 5 years old in this :)
Memories like that are some of life's greatest treasures. Good times
That is amazing Ian, I love this work and you are right you have to be very patient to do so many little details. But that is beautiful result. I am glad you captured everything on video!
Thanks Stef :)
