Helpie weekly curation report. 14/7/2019 to 20/7/2019.
My second weekly report as a Baker of the @helpie project and i would like to present one art and two photography posts that i found really impressive. This was a great week because apart from the beautiful new artworks i saw, it was the launch of the CreativeCoin. It is a new token focusing on artists and creative people and i highly recommend to start using the #creativecoin tag and receive CCC in your steem engine wallet.
I have a soft spot for science fiction, movies, books, games i like everything so it was only logical to love this artwork. I know Carmen's artworks they are really good but this one is a masterpiece. It has amazing colours and textures a lot of tension and a really cool back story to accompany the artwork. I highly suggest to check it out. I baked a giant chocolate cake for it, without alien tentacles and nasty surprises inside.
A really interesting capture from an established photographer. The use of the dual tone lighting (green/orange) combined with the unreal pose of the model and the props created a very impressive result. I baked a strawberry vanilla cake for it because i was inspired by the Spring atmosphere of the photograph.
Light painting is an art i was not familiar until i saw it at Steemit. There is a large community of light painters here and are very active presenting and explaining the secrets of their art. In this one i really loved the 80s summer vibe and the visuals that blend in a balanced way with the model. I baked a classic 80s extravaganza cake with melted chocolate on top and a ball of ice cream.

STOPYou have a great selection, I saw Carmen's work too and it made me to think about "Alien" the first Sci-fi that was scary enough for me and of course Sigourney Weaver became my favourite actress after that. I also like the picture of @lightcaptured it is really hidden, so that one need to look careful at the whole subject to see that there is a person behind the flower bouquet :)
Thank you Stef. Carmen's work is more than impressive she is a very hard working artist. Alien is theonly sci fi series that i liked all movies. if you check you will see that all of them were directed from first name and succesful directors and all had a certain unique feeling. Weaver was amazing in all of them. My favourite actress too:)
Lightcaptured and Dawner are both very talented photographers and their work is really unique every time:)

The photo of @lightcaptured is incredible, it seems magical, it has something of fantasy, I love! The photo of @dawnoner has a lot of style, the red color is great. The photos painted with light are really great, they create incredible things!

It was a very impressive artwork Carmen, I could say your best so far. Everything was perfect, colours shape feeling proportions story. Phenomenal😊 I will keep in mind your favourite taste and maybe next time add some chico tentacles also, lol

It's a subject that I like very much! and I had a lot of fun making this drawing, although if I had had a little more time, I would have made it a little more scary ;).
It was a crazy day, but it made me very happy that at the end of the day everything improved because the acceptance was good, that raised my mood that was lately on the floor. I hope to improve!
Yes? Well, that would be great, soon it will be my birthday and a big chocolate cake with tentacles surprises, Oh! that would be an unusual and special gift lol.

Yes! Everything that is sweet is acceptable to me. It's my weakness! So a few sweet tentacles would be fine ;).
Wow these are some amazing picks and finds! The first one reminds me of the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’ and we just finished watching season 3! This is the first I’m hearing and seeing light painting. Wow there is just so much beautiful and creative art right before us. Thanks for sharing!
I just finished the last season too, i really liked it:) The artwork is for sure inspired from such themes,lol. About the lightpainting, my first experience was here too, i knew about it but thought that was just an experiment of Picasso,lol.
