Creative Curation Report #2

avatar

curation2.jpg

My second weekly curation report for CreativeCoin will be focused on three underrated visual art posts that i found creative and valuable for the community. In my opinion all of them did not get the attention they deserved even though its one has a unique beauty and style.I hope that through this presentation you will discover them and give them a little more support.

For all of you who did not heard the news yet, Creative Coin is a new tribe for creative Steemians. If you are a creative person or you have a creative side that you want to express, you should start using #creativecoin tag at your posts or use the CreativeCoin Front End to also enjoy posts from other creatives. You can find here the guidlines for what we consider creative or not, in case you need any help evaluating your post.

Orange Feelings by @yoogyart.

A beautiful digital painting radiating a summer vibe, fitting for this season. The colour combination reminds me of the sun and sea and puts me in the mood to drop everything and escape to the nearest beach. I loved all the little details of the artwork like the shadow under the hand and the flaming spirals.

A Bluish Soul by @medussart.
USgKoryE83iwcPd8oMpjAo5KXjFJfa96tQCskUomNjXKTBie62LdvGuJtz8e6ZkYH5scGUYAjTPzRbMgsBPekt.jpg

It is very useful for the artists to have a sketchbook and record their random thoughts. Medussa described it as her artsy gym and i could not agree more in that. For this exercise she created a beautiful composition of butterflies in bluish hues. Butterfly is a strong symbol of rebirth and transformation and i believe that a swarm of them visualizes major changes.

Sorcerer's Sunset by @ferjart.
USgKoryE83iwcPd8oMpjAo5KXjFJfa96tQCskWDCn1C6MEYG7RoZNE2UJfYTGduuRQ5YGsLZfq8yX2ZtCFc3un.jpg

Another digital painting from an artist that i follow and i admire for a long time. The tiny mysterious sorcerer is bringing to me a feeling of nostalgia as it reminds me a bit of Star Wars and the animation He-Man that i used to watch as a child. The colour combination is beautiful and balanced and even though the composition looks simple there a lot of details to notice and imagine what is the story behind them.

Until the next time, stay creative.

As always you seems to be busy with the curating around, promoting the communities, activities and that helps people to orientate and not to give up quickly. Very nice selection :)

Good curation, best thing is we'll find more artists this way. So hard for one to be seen here.

Thank you Manol:) Yes it is kind of hard to be seen and manual curation is an important process. Through filtering and refiltering , i believe we will manage to bring the valuable posts at the spotlight:)

There is some good art here, but all of these coins people are creating are devaluing STEEM.

I do not believe that the tokens devaluing steem, on the contrary they bring more value in it. They give a central role at steem and create different communities that evolve around it.

I'm all for different communities. Steemit already had that before Steem Engine. This is simple economics. All these tokens are drawing attention away from STEEM and competing against it.

i am not sure that they are competing with Steem. I think that they add value to it, its a bit like ETH and the tokens that were created through it. All the tokens added value because people needed to buy ETH in order to buy tokens. Same thing will happen to Steem if investors start taking interest to the tokens. At least this is what i am hoping for,lol

The difference here is, if you're on another interface--say, Palnet--then you earn that token for your curation. You don't earn STEEM. Unless I'm missing something. The tokens on the Ethereum platform don't take anything away from ETH. If you earn a particular token on the Steem blockchain because you're using an interface other than Steemit, then you are earning that token and not STEEM. That takes STEEM out of circulation.

No it is not working this way. When someone votes you that has steem power and tokens staked, like CCC, he gives you both steem and tokens. If he has Pal he gives you also pal tokens. So you get 3 kind of rewards😊

So if you're on Palnet, or another interface, and you vote, you get PAL, or that other token, and STEEM?

You dont have to be in a front end, all you have to do is to put the tag and you will receive pal and ccc along with steem. The interfaces are just to see a different face of Steem. At the creativecoine interface you see only creative posts, at the porn interface only porn etc:)
