SUP DUDES

A few months back I shared a teaser for the video with you guys that was just over a minute. I give you the full training montage I filmed for Black Hulk at Grant's MMA and Boxing Gym in Toronto Ontario Canada. Holy cow I can't believe I've finally finished the video. This was filmed back around mid May of 2019 - I know that was forever ago. There are a multitude of factors that went into this project taking so long to finish.

For starters the sheer amount of footage that was captured that day. I think it was somewhere around 3 hours. Boiling that much footage down to less than 3 minutes was daunting. But I did it. The main thing that slowed the editing process down was - shortly after shooting I began the most extreme creative burnout I've ever experienced. I hated everything I made - nothing was good enough. Everything was trash. I'll be honest there was probably 50 different iterations of this video. If I hadn't told myself today was the last day no if ands or but's I can seriously guarantee you I would be working on this indefinitely. Although I burned out I kept creating. Plenty of material in the pipe.

So Here it is - I'm posting it and moving on. Looking ot the future and excited to create and release new content for you guys. As I've mentioned in previous posts I've got a few music videos I'm awaiting clearance on so I can release them. Soon very soon.

This turned out great. Sometimes just imposing a self deadline and making yourself finish something is the way to go. Spinning tires just sinks you farther into the mud, you know? I hope you are coming out of the creative burnout feeling because I really like your work dude. Your edits are perfect here.

oh hey no prob dude I totally understand what you mean - most of the comments on Steem definitely are bots LOL. And I say that as part of a curation group (@c-squared) that leaves an automated comment with every upvote. But at least in our defense, @c-squared doesn't upvote a post unless it was manually curated by a real person, and reviewed in the discord community. Glad to hear you are feeling creative now! Let it rip!
