How to Plant Wildflower Seeds

Good day dear community, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you all had a day that has been full of positive experiences! Today I would like to talk about nature and hope you are able to expand your knowledge a little.

Here you can see some pictures of wildflower seeds and the result and these seeds are mostly native wild plants which are particularly good for biodiversity and offer an important food source for numerous species of insects. The best time to plant these seeds is between March or April and it is important to bring patience with you because it can take a few weeks for the first seeds to germinate and those who have a free space available should already plan some time in advance and choose a location which in the best case is in the full sun or in partial shade. It is important that you use a month for germination, which is very variable from the weather and to avoid dry times because otherwise it can happen that many of the plants have it much more difficult to see the light of day. In the best case, you should take a substrate that is relatively neutral and has not been fertilized and if pest plants grow in the flowerbed, you should remove it before. It is important that the soil is loosened beforehand and then you can need to sow the seeds or mix them into substrate beforehand and it is enough if you plant the seeds two to three centimeters. Now it is very important to keep the soil moist with clear water and the focus should definitely be on the fact that the soil does not dry out and now it is important to bring patience because, as it already mentioned above, can take a few weeks and in some cases even up to two months. However, the first sprouts should show up earlier and if you should plant seeds in a flowerbed in which plants from last year are already growing, you should mow them beforehand. During the growth phase, you should fertilize regularly to avoid a deficiency and if you have already used pre-fertilized soil, you should wait a little longer with the fertilizers. The seeds germinate theoretically even if you simply scatter them, but who got the possibility should pay attention to a optimal growing and it can be particularly worthwhile if you want to plant a large area or scatter the seeds in nature to support biodiversity, but it is important to know here that you should definitely pay attention to choose wilfflower seeds that are not invasive.

Once I have sown some seeds but when flowers came out, birds destroy them all.

That's a pity, maybe you'll find a safer place next time.
