The End of the New Era
Hi steemians:
A few days ago, when reviewing the old scripts I had saved, I found a project that I had started publishing here on the platform but I never wanted to finish. I took the time to read it again and the truth is that the love for the story and characters is still in me, so today I would like to show you everything I can about this curious and particular universe.
The End of the New Era is a dystopian and post apocalyptic story that I wrote and published almost a year ago that tells how humanity found itself on the verge of extinction after the invasion of the Inbēdā's, hugely large creatures that devour humans, who after arriving they killed and swallowed a large part of the population on earth.
Because of this, the surviving humans built fortresses to be able to protect themselves from the Inbēdā, fortresses that over time were reinforced and converted into Inbēdā Free Cities, habitable for the surviving humans. In these cities they could walk and live without fear of infectious viruses, caused by the blood of Inbēdā which contaminated soil and vegetation, and the fear of being stalked or eaten by those fearsome beasts.
Coupled with that, the surviving humans developed weapons and giant battleships for the fight and defense against the Inbēdā. These giant battleships measured the same high and thick as the Inbēdā and gave the possibility, by their humanoid design, of a fair fight against these despicable beasts. These giant battleships were called "Protectors" and were handled by trained pilots with the sole purpose of extermination of the Inbēdā.
Main characters
Jared Avci:
He is a young 19-year-old fighter pilot belonging to the main line of protectors of the defense division, responsible for carrying out the most complicated combat missions. He is a sarcastic but quite serious man, he knows how to deal with complicated situations and is very patient and persuasive, qualities that allow him to be a great pilot and carry out negotiations that benefit his interests.
Protector: Grizzly
Jared is in charge of piloting the Grizzly, an steel giant very useful in stealth missions. In addition to having an extensive and varied catalog of weapons, it has a tremendous speed and resistance. Jared is the # 02 pilot of the main line of protectors.
Veronica Burakgazi:
She is a young 19-year-old fighter pilot, leader of the main line of protectors of the defense division, responsible for carrying out the most complicated combat missions. She is a kind but direct lady, she knows how to devise effective plans quickly, such as guiding a team and is always willing to listen to her teammates, qualities that allow her to be a great pilot and leader.
Protector: Polar
Veronica is in charge of piloting the Polar, a giant of steel very useful in close combat. Has very heavy but fast fists, in addition to having an agility and jump superior to that of the other protectors. It also has an extensive and varied catalog of weapons. Veronica is the # 01 pilot and leader of the main line of protectors.
Adalberht Sadik:
He is a young 20-year-old fighter pilot belonging to the main line of protectors of the defense division, responsible for carrying out the most complicated combat missions. At the age of 7 he was swallowed by an Inbēdā but because of his size he was not bitten by his teeth, falling directly to the stomach. He was rescued two days later by a pilot and his protector after having killed the Inbēdā, but the stay inside the stomach of Inbēdā damaged the health of the young Adalberh.
The intestinal fluids of the Inbēdā do not generate serious infections such as direct contact with their blood, but they can still generate complicated viruses.
He is a noble and realistic man, he listens and observes people very well what allows him to know when they are being sincere or not. Also quickly discover the true intentions of everyone around him, easily finding traitors and / or enemies.
Protector: Labiado
Adalberh is in charge of piloting the Labiado, a giant of heavy and square steel, the strongest steel giant that exists. He is the protector with the most attack weapons recorded, turning his battleship into a war machine. He is the slowest of his team, but his resistance and various tools make him the most powerful protector. Adalberh is the pilot # 03 of the main line of protectors.
Protector Cockpit
The cockpit is the control panel of the steel giants. The cockpits are usually located in the head of the protector (although sometimes they can be located in the center of his chest), and in these the pilot is connected via neunoral to the protector's mother source, allowing optimal handling.
Not all human beings resist a neuronal connection with the protector. Pilots enter this space with a special suit that will allow the connection between subject and protector is possible.

Main Line of Protectors
The Main Line of Protectors, is an elite squad formed by the pilots Burakgazi, Sadik and Avci, who have faced the worst threats Inbēdā of recent years. Within the combat division they are the most qualified to face threats and in important missions seeing their badge is always reassuring, since it is a guarantee of triumph.
I enjoyed very much retaking the universe of Avci and his companions. Having finally defined the designs of the Protectors and main characters was very cool, and the truth is that I would love to keep telling you about these heroes and their world.
