In an effort to capture those assorted lovely bleus, delphiniums are only too kind to present in abundance.....bleujay set about experimenting.

Beginning with the model photographs.....to selecting from original cloud photos ....and then setting about composing on selected image.... resulted in what you see as the finished work here....for your enjoyment.

The "Delphiniums and Fireflies" from cloud in the bleu skye are really gorgeous.

The original photos of clouds and the model are marvelous. Great capture.

Ah, how I miss fireflies. As a youngster, we would chase them all over, trying to guess where the next 'flash' would be. They are not in this part of the world, and even at the places where I used to live, there are fewer. Such a fascinating bug.
I love your artwork combination. The dark and light almost make it 3D. Very creative indeed. Enjoy the weekend, as it is fast upon us. Cheers

There does seem to be an ebb and flow of these little creatures, perhaps their level of existence depends on a bit of extra rain. There seems to be quite an extra amount this year.....thus they made their way into this work. hehe ^__^

That is very cute creation. I have never heard about Delphiniums, probably have seen before but never knew about the name. The plant has many little flowers, I like when one plant has flowers on different stage of blooming of them, it feels like there are always fresh flowers there. Nice dark background that allows fireflies to shine better. Nice composition and as always great fantasy to read the clouds. I wish you and your family nice weekend :)

Thank you so much for your kind words.

When and if you meet Delphiniums, I would be quite surprised if you did not find them quite irresistable.....their crepe like flowers petals, the variations of colour, their longevity and as you say the different stages of growth causing it to appear fresh.

A side note of interest......There is a Delphinium farm in England where they raise the fleurs for their petals.....drying them and selling them in bulk to be used at weddings for tossing after a wedding instead of the traditional rice....a novel idea.

So appreciate your kind artistic words regarding the artwork.

I did wonder if I should write a poem to accompany it, addressed to children and take the final work to a colouring page type effect app. We will see..... especially if we end up having little faces on little creatures, as I have another piece of art in the works with all sorts of creatures. hehe

Wow... I never thought about you actually could do this.
Really creative to take different pictures like this and get them together. Beautiful background with the sky and the flowers are beautiful.
But the results there are truly Magnificent 😍
I love blue and these flowers turned out beautifully.

Great editing and I have to se if I can pull something like this out.
Im still working my way forward in learning about photography.
This is inspiring as many of your pictures are.

Yes....anyone can have a go and really bring something together.

Use subject matter you are familiar with and your imagination will do the rest.....using a few art principles along the way.
