I took this little video as I was painting today,
taking my time doing very soft dry-brushing.
I really like this technique for the movement effect,
even though it's not a very efficient way of painting a mural.
In this case, I just needed to allow myself to work in this way,
the final effect will be well worth it.
This is my love offering of gratitude for Solar Culture,
for all the growth and development over the last 13 years.
This place is such a great cultural gem!
Running since 1987, with a constant flow of art, music, and community ever since!
I need to complete this piece in this month, and it is quite a process!
A process of giving birth to myself!
I will be writing more about it soon!

I used a lot of drybrushing back in the days when i was painting miniatures:) It was my favourite technique, it took a lot of time but i really loved the result:)
