First game at the Emirates, thoughts about Norwich game and where's your suit man?

It really is nice to see a manager talking about the simple things about the game that are all blatant. Unlike Unai who constantly tried to shield the general public from the blatant facts, Freddie has come out talking about the issues with our game.

Freddie talked about the difficulties we faced in the transition from defense to attack, game management and of course our terrible defending. You can get it all here in his first press conferenceconference as Arsenal Interim.

In summary, the arsenal manager's opinion is that;

  • We attacked well against Norwich but suffered from lapses in the defence
  • The defence in question needs to be improved
  • The 12th man is very important for the team's survival
  • Then there's the little matter of ex manchester united midfielder, failed manager and pundit Paul Scholes talking about why Freddie didn't wear a suit for his first fixture. Here's what Freddie had to say concerning the issue;

It was so quick, the suit was at the dry cleaners so I couldn’t get it ready! No, I have seen the Premier League and seen coaches in a tracksuit, coaches with a suit, and I have seen coaches with a sweater, so I will decide on a matchday what I will use.

I guess you'll have to wait like the rest of us to find out, good old Scholsey.

Team News

We have a relatively clean bill of health. Hector Bellerin is being assessed for the game on Thursday and Dani Ceballos is on track to be back in the squad by mid-December. Until we meet again, up the Arsenal
